Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet- Beginners Guide 2 | Enhancing Weapons

In this video I detail how enhancing weapons works. You can also acquire Enhancements to be specific, R7, R8, R9, & R10 via killing enemies, in particular the gold drones; I got a rank 9 material from it while farming for Ar Blue Rose, New Game + and I think rewinding works as well. Weapons can only be enhanced twice which is noted by the number of "+" next to its name. Also worth noting, you can randomly get weapons that already have one or two "+" which means you may not be able to enhance that weapon as high as you previously thought. And on a final note, rarity is divorced from how many enhancements you can make, still should save those materials for Legendaries anyhow.

Also, does that mean rarity essentially does not serve a purpose to enhancing? Just curious so I can clear it up next video if it served as confusion of sorts.

Rarity only effects the number of chip slots(and number of unlockable chip slots in turn) and nothing else. Glad I could be of assistance.

Legendary rarity weapons dropped from extreme difficulty or in higher level multiplayer dungeons.

How do i fully unequip weapons to enchance them?
I took off the weapon I want to enchance but it still says it's still equipped

You probably saved it to a costumization at your terminal where you can make different builds/loadouts. If you go to your terminal in your home, kiritos place, or the lobby, access it, go to customizations, and where you saved your loadout, remove the items by (on console) pressing your start button and then pressing "yes" to remove.

From what I know, you either need to beat the story for all dlcs along with main story, or just beat the main story.

​@@BlueAccentGamingYT I have that to, and it won't let me Enhance it with an enhancement formula, even though I have a formula it should work with. whenever I try it says, "Unable to enhance items that are currently equipped or locked." I made sure that the weapon is unequipped beforehand though. This is a weapon that I use a lot as well. The E is Located right before the Box and name of weapon. The E appears to only be over Weapons I or my Arfa sys have been using a lot thou for some reason. Do I just start using other weapons for a while? until it goes away on its own? Will it go away on its own?🤔
