Here's the info on Pluto + Blackdog: The skeleton dies in 1 hit (like the Death Ring in Order of Ecclesia) and the bones don't do much damage. However, on occasion, the skeleton will throw a huge bone. That bone will do 999 damage to any enemy it hits.
Actually, the damage dealt is about equal to around 3000 strength instead of Nathan's own. This IS affected by the enemy's defensive stats, but most bosses funnily enough can still die in 1 or 2 hits since their HP scales alongside the defense value.
To do the summon: input down, right, up+attack. It's basically a half circle input. Make sure you in put the direction Nathan is facing or it won't work.
You need to find them across the castle, first. There's 10 Action Cards (determines what the DSS Combo will do), and 10 Attribute Cards (Determines the element of the attack). You need at least 1 of each to use DSS. Then you equip them in the menu. To activate, press the R button.
Thanks for doing this video, it's very helpful. I don't have all the cards yet because I am only up to Death and the Underground Warehouse, but some of the later effects look like a lot of fun.
Some combinations will require the combo Down, Left/Right, Up and B to be used, like the Apollo combinations or the Item Crash with Pluto + Salamander.
Mars + Black Dog = crossbow/gun. Shots only appeared like lasers because it's shot fast enough or it's energy-based. The walkthrough got it wrong, thinking and saying it was a laser gun. (take note that the story takes in the late 1800's). And also, how come Neptuen and Venus' cards weren't shown here?
Neptune and venus are stat boosters. Iirc, venus is the actual stat booster, while Neptune allows you absorb the attack of specific elements and heal you. Ex: neptune+salamander allows you to absorb fire based damage, and heals you by a certain amount
Matheus Dantas music is from a youtuber called "nightshader1"... He plays castlevania songs and more... Have a look at his channel he is very talented!
+ippo boyy Neptune's ability triggers when you are hit with an elemental attack of the selected element. If you mean the summon combos, hit down, left/right, up, in a rolling motion, and then attack.
I love this game. Best castlevania game on the GBA in my opinion. Aria was to Japanese for me. Since when was any castlevania game that Japanese though
I made a mistake. It's not 999 damage, but 9999 damage.
I love this theme song. From the SOTN Castlevania
This Nathan guy has a ton of experience with the whip! He walked so Jonathan Morris could run.
