No, he could ve flashed away and that could possible give time to yone and shaco to rotate (cause he didn t know if shaco goes for invade or contest red). In that scenario u gamble ur game for a kill instead of something u get 100%

plat really isn't that much different from gold, if you duo it's super easy to get plat from bronze in about ~180 games of just learning of the game.
