This watch is SOOOOOOO 2025! Ha! Those cast lume blocks will be everywhere by year end, trust me. And red aventurine? Yes please! Cheers, Jody
No matter what else might be happening in my life, hearing you say "Helloooooo" and welcome me to JOMW always makes me feel happy. It's comforting. Thanks so very very much for all your hard work and everything you do!
Ha! Thanks mate. Much appreciated. It's comments like this that have helped me make 1250 videos and counting! 🤣
Hahaha, I found this comment hilarious because I actually mute the intro every time. Love the channel, but that intro grates on me.
@@oQyqTtd62u that sounds like a you problem 🙈
I’m with you on this… proper comfort watching. Keep it up Jody
I wonder if it would be possible to produce whole hands like they do with the numerals. Imagine a solid but obviously thin full lume minute and hour hand. I would love it.
C60 Lumiere by Christopher Ward is just what you describe 👌🏻
The CW Lumiere has lume blocks on the handset
9:44 Like Jody and Steve, perhaps? 😉 I would love to see a red aventurine Erebus!
I am glad you made the comparison with Zelos because that bracelet and clasp looks like it just fell off a Zelos Spearfish! Not a complaint as the Spearfish is triple the price.
Not only looks like, I think the links are directly swappable between the two since I do own both (the Terra Fortune instead of the normal one will release soon).
That release looks more unique than 95% of other microbrand releases.
That bronze/orange is calling my name.
I found my red dial watch, thanks!
This combines my interests in vintage watches and colors/textures! I kind of wish it was actual dirty dozen sized, though, and I'm still wary of sea-gull
Very refreshing take on this genre! They all look bloody brilliant
I love that carbon dial on the bracelet. Zelos is just off the reservation for me. And that seagull movement is fine for me. The only seagull that makes me barf is the ST-19. But the style and lume on this as well as bracelet finishing. 👌
Wow really like the look of that arctic luminova with the black numerals. May have to bargain with the wife for another watch purchase 😂
Would be nice to see an Erebus with cast 3d lume block numerals in the future...🤔🙂
Hmmmmmm.
I'd buy another Erebus like that :)
They look really nice! Thinking about getting one of the bronze options.. What about a bronze Erebus? Great video, like always! Regards
I have been waiting for the presale eyeing the carbon dial on leather. Really a neat watch.
Hi Jody... great video as always and I watch all of them religiously, but lately the sound levels are off. Your videos seem to have a much lower volume than usual. I'm finding that I have to turn up the volume substantially when watching your videos. This seems to have started a few weeks ago.
Surprised that Revelot didn't chose the Epson/Orient F6222 movement (small seconds @6, crown @3)
You had me at Dirty Jod...
Ahahha! Too early for that over here, I've still not had my breakfast! Cheers mate.
I would love to see the orange fume next to your orange fume.
Like these a lot! They’re like a better version of what Bremont came out with recently.
The Tudor pelagos is the first watch i can recall with the lume blocks
Nice watch! I’m tired of seeing the small diameter watches for children 😂. Great as always Jody!!!
How come I never "see the pop up"?
Anyway. I love the watch! Revelot does some cool designs.
Maybe we have TH-cam Premium? That's my only guess
These have some great feaures, Revelot is doing a great job of being a microbrand and experimenting with designs and materials. The bronze and the red aventurine both look great! I'm wondering what cues we can derive for any Erebus Field .. 🤔 😄
Id rather have this than the new Bremont Terra Nova. That red dial is stunning!
Great looking but the link to the dirty dozen is tenuous as text, hands, case, lugs , dial and crown are nothing like the DD. I enjoyed the review but Jody the click bait is as I said tenuous.
LOOK LIKE MORE A WORLD WAR 1 WATCH THAN A WORLD WAR 2 WATCH😮😮😮😮😮😮
With basic black dial the lume blocks would be awesome.
Hope other brand/maker do it.
Absolutely love the lumed numerals and the dials, but can’t get past the movement. Personally would have preferred a mechaquartz for better accuracy and weight.
And just as I've been looking for a field watch these last few months. Cool watches, and a very reasonable price, though the colours might be a bit vivid for me.
Maybe I'm wrong, but from my experience with purchasing the Mecadromo, I would say that the circulation is not per dial, but rather per dial/strap assembly. That is, there would be 240 watches for the black dial, 40 for each type of strap.
Love the look!
Trad but mod?
The only thing I like is the beautiful onion crown.
Shanghai Stripes 😂 genius
Had my eye on these, since they were announced. I’m holding out for the proposed larger case size though.
Has that been talked about?
I was spending the last few days fighting the urge to buy one only to realize it's a 38mm. No clue why but I spent the better part of 2 weeks just assuming it was a big pilot 40-44mm watch.
Nothing wrong with 38mm but I've got bigger wrists so I tend to reserve anything south of 39mm to dress watches and the like
I have to say, I have been wanting one of these types of watches but was never drawn to the vintage style they usually come in, this is the first with a modern sport style which I prefer. I just do not think I am prepared to pre-order from a brand I just heard of today. Surely these will sell out. Any idea how serviceable these movements are?
350.00 I think is a bit high for a super cheap movement and the bracelet might be the best part of it. It's nice looking but I think you can get a citizen with the small second hand at the bottom of the watch 6 o'clock position which I think is a better watch. Sorry, I don't know the model number but Jody has had them on his channel in the past. .
Actually has Vario vibes with Early American Railway font and flieger onion somewhat mixed
Hallooooo and Happy Hump day!
I’m eying that carbon dial…. But I literally just bought a Terra (fortune) last month with the fully lumed dial. I wonder if the tech/process exists to create a cast lumed hand.
It's the movement that puts me off, an extra 50 for a miyota doesn't seem that much of a price increase. The Vario dd12 homage works well with that movement and style. But I'm tempted.
Personally I really like assymetric sub-seconds placement, but I can imagine more people will complain about symmetry.
& Then if you put the crown at 4:30 you'll have plenty of people have a whinge about that.
Trade offs for every choice
Yeah but you can’t beat the real British Vertex original or modern version, still a nice watch though.
What lumes better, the green or blue?
I actually thought the green was better, which is not usually the case.
Thanks man 🍻🏴@JustOneMoreWatch
Please review a Longines Spirit 37mm!
I've got a load of those fkm rubber and sailcloth straps, wrist envy in the UK are by the most sensible with the prices, nice watches, although now I've had a closer look, thanks Jodie 👍 I'll not be buying one
These are cool
The Seagull movement does give me pause; no hacking and a rated accuracy of +/-30s per day puts me off these watches. And their website prices are a bit confusing as they don't update when changing the currency. Love the bronze case/blue dial design though.
The production quality here is outstanding-great set, sharp visuals, and excellent content. But honestly, the intro doesn’t match the high standards of the rest of the video.
A mecha-quartz or regular Ronda quartz like SWC used in the ARK might have been a good play, or at least option. This one not hacking is the biggest turnoff for me, but I'm not sure it's a deal breaker. $250 is still GREAT.
What is the disadvantage of a plastic movement holder when it's not visible and it likely weighs less?
Just shows a cut corner/cost saving measure.
I'm waiting for the review of the mysterious Mr. X
ST17 is a slim movement.
Even at under 12mm in a non-diver watch, I consider the watch too thick for the movement.
If this lume ends up in Erebus watches… 🤤
Every video is a real treat! Thank you for your creativity and professionalism.⚽️📀🦉
That looks like a Formex bracelet.
Or Zelos Swordfish
I'm not buying bronze one for the movement - I'm buying it bc ORANGE!
Seagull movement? HARD pass! These watches look good though, and I lllooove that lume! Sweet bracelet. If these had a solar quartz movement, I'd consider one.
Crazy to think that IWC was making Fliegers for the Germans and these field watches for the British. Were they coming out of the same factory? What happened when the orders got mixed up and pallet of Fliegers ended up in London?
Very Swiss eh? Stay neutral and just make money 🤣
@@JustOneMoreWatchright, who would do that?
*laughing nervously in Swedish*
That red dial is a stunner! The watch is so affordable, it's almost worth buying one and putting in a better movement down the road.
I'm assuming that since this video is sponsored that Jody will get to choose a watch for himself. I hope he chooses the red one! ❤
I am blown away. What an offering. I don't own any micros, I prefer the heritage and cache of established brands, but my interest is piqued !
they had me until "sea gull"
The Hamilton is iconic and don't forget boring. Just get a Timex and leave all that money in the bank.
Lumicast is useless if hands can't keep up with the numerals. Nothing beats my SWC Bunker.
Love a full arabic dial and looking forward to seeing more of the lumicast numerals.
Gonna try and grab on of these i think.
This is a loose definition of "interpretation." Cool looking watch but it reminds more of a Zenith
Pilot Montre Type 20 than an old WW2 field watch.
Long time subscriber took a long break from this hobby now with the rise of Ali-express and wonderful homages at reasonable prices has dragged me back in. Also thanks to you I have a new grail that beautiful white citizen chronomaster
It's a stunner! Mine has had a bit of a break so far this year, but is sitting in the box, just waiting for an opportunity to get back on my wrist!
Nice but unfortunately far too small for my wrist.
Hamilton looks the best..
I must say I like this, a bit like the Pilot Calatrava, the red is nasty, looks like a strippers nailpolish, why no brown? The grey is cool tho. Bremont do the lume plot thing, but they look a bit shit
Hmmm... No hacking and a plastic movement holder. Just oozes quality...
Bonito dial, bonita caja ,buen lumen, buen brazalete ,pero movimiento muy bajo de gama para un reloj de 330$ ,hay relojes de 50€ con ese movimiento.
You really need to scale that thumbnail Jodie. Your helmet looks odd. Ahem.
"Japanese" Super-Luminova? So, made on licence Swiss Super-Luminova?
To be fair to them, I suppose if they didn't specify then you'd assume it was Swiss manufacture, not that it really matters anyways?
If you led with non-hacking, i could have saved some time. Won't look at a watch that can't be hacked.
Why? Because it can't be set accurately....for the first 12 hours of the day until it becomes innacurate because it is an affordable mechanical watch??
@JustOneMoreWatch I'm retired military. Sat in many briefing rooms where everyone synced their watches before heading out so that you knew someone wasn't going to initiate an action early or late.
Old habits die hard. I sync whatever watch I'm wearing every morning to my radio set atomic clock. I like my second hand to hit the 12 exactly when the minute hand hits a mark. Again, retired and maybe too OCD, but I need hacking.
Meh. The original dirty dozen had nailed the design in the 40's. Simple, legible, robust. Tool watches for people doing serious things, not shiny jewellery. Not a fan of small seconds though.
Kinda of an Andy Warhol dirty dozen. I’ll pass.
No thank you.
Any thoughts on the new ORIS DIVERS 65?
Review and a good look given your experience with the watch.TIA.
❤

Boom! Twelve points today, in keeping with the theme.

Hey Jody. Nothing mentioned on their website about WR nor if the crown is screw down. Do you know?
@@stuartdavies7351 In his press releases, Kevin said they have 100 metres water resistance and screw down crown.
