In reality it takes up all the breathing room in the relationship. You can't even concentrate around the bills. I think striving for personal stability in all the ways including financial is so important. If you haven't prioritized that by 30, I lovingly recommend you do. You'll choose a partner differently.

I 100% agree with you. My husband and I have been together for 18 years this year and what works for you doesn’t work for everyone else. All people are different which means all relationships will be. When I am asked for advice I tell people you need to do what works for you and evaluation of the happiness in your relationship amongst the two in it.
