s2 starved us of catradora content to completely ruin us on s3. I'm actually working on other projects and didn't plan this at all but I listened to lover a couple days ago and ended up pausing everything else lmao though I'm almost done with another euphoria edit.
Both perspectives, bc up until their last fight I feel adora blamed herself for leaving catra and everything that happened, but now it's catra's turn to realize she done fucked up.

Both girls made mistakes that ultimately led 2 larger consequences, NOT just Catra.
The portal fiasco WAS a disaster 2 put it mildly but u can’t say Adora putting duty above her best friend & failing 2 realise the true extent of Catra’s pain didn’t play a part in the long run of Catra’s downward spiral 🤷♀️
But 2 her credit she DOES recognise this following her coming back 4 Catra from Prime. She thinks more about her best friend’s feelings & actually starts L.I.S.T.E.N.I.N.G. 2 her, rather than just talking OVER her.
End Point - Catra isn’t the ONLY 1 who changes in season 5.

I’m crying all over again. This is so beautiful! I love the songs you choose to represent their relationship. Personally, I still have faith in them. I know they can work things out, even though Adora is so done with her at this point and Catra has completely lost her sanity. Something will happen that will bring them back together

No but really, it's important that adora finally gave up on catra to make a redemtion arc work, bc let's be honest up until this point adora would've taken her back and stood up for her the moment she showed any intention of changing, but now, won't be so easy.
