I can't believe it, he spoke in English xD ... You can hear how he really tried his best on learning to speak in English, and finally revealed the most important and hard part of all the guitarist, and also the most uncovered: The picking (circular picking), which i think he is the best at it!
Thanks ohmura-san! i'm starting to practice circular pickying and realized i was doing it wrong. Thank you so much for the lesson. You're the best!!! Greetings from Mexico!!
Hey Mr Ohmura, Can you explain a little more about what you explained about your picking on the japanese part? (I'm sure there's more information, but you said something about the index finger. Index takes priority, and not thumb right? And we have to work in our rhythm, in the accent)
in your case what u can do is use picks that has extra firm grip in it like for instance jazz 3 pick but i forgot which series though..m sure other pick brands also has picks with extra grip....jazz 3 pick is my preference..u can choose whichever brand according to your liking
secrets of takayoshi picking revealed.... probably the most important lesson i seen so far

Takayoshi's picking technique is unbelievable. It's almost like playing jazz/drums on guitar or something. 7:56 insane! I gotta keep trying this.
Thank you for yet another helpful lesson! I apreciate your teachings!

The picking method at the end -- when I try it, the pick slowly slips out of my grip. Holding it too tightly reduces the speed. Any tips?
