A picture of the bottom of the pot in the listing too. It with have the manufacturing date and batch no on it. I can't remember exactly how they format on le creuset pots. But I guarantee the buyer won't have a clue. So when you get the broken pot back 9 times out of ten they won't match.
The funny part he make her open a new account to buy it off him after he blocked her!!! 😂😂😂 he's thinking she was the troll but he was trolling her 🤣 i love you bro keep up the hustle 😂
Or just cancel the order and delist it for a couple of months, had the same happen to me and that’s what I did, why send it knowing your gonna get scammed !!! In the end he/she wins and you lose. All to prove a point !!
I think you’ve completely missed the video, my friend. I’ve sent it fucking bombproof And on video and I pay insurance Sellers, do you have protection you know we do have things in place where we are able to protect ourselves Nothing to do with the point I knew I was going to send it regardless So I made a video on it because if it unfolded the way that I thought it was going to, it would’ve been a great story. Turns out, I didn’t get scammed because I think I prevented it So I think the only point in this video is protect yourselves and stop cancelling orders it’s just weird.
I don't blame you, fair play there's a lot of scammers out there mm I was scammed in a similar way on ebay best to be safe then sorry.love ya channel. New subscriber..
Not if you choose change of address, but I would never cancel under false pretences anyway, especially for something like this. As long as you do everything by the book, you are covered. Sellers do have protection too. I have initiated these protections many many times.
Dude thankyou for this! Not just me experiencing the same thing!!!!! Done exactly like you did in vid. Send off and they like fantastic item etc. part of me is like mofos! But yes I get same….. can I find anything wrong with what I’m buying. Like back off man, shits not got that far yet and your looking for faults
Good video. I think you were right and they were setting up for a scam but got it and realised it was impossible that, that would have broken and you sent it in such a way that they couldnt say they didnt recieve it either. I mean most people on asking about an item and getting no response would just shrug and look elsewhere not open another account.
Shame they didn't leave nearby - you could have hand delivered, that would've given them a shock. When I'm in similar situations I send them pictures of the stages of it being packed and say here's some photos for peace of mind so you know it will not get damaged.
Hi Ricky. How about offering to deliver the pot (as you will he in the area snyway) but will be taking pictures on the doorstep of the handover. See what response you get. 😅 Galanispicker....
I have sold to new account buyers before without issue, everyone has to start somewhere. But in this case with the similar name and postcode etc you were right to be twitchy.
I'm surprised you didn't hand deliver it! Is there a secret invisible marker we can use to write on things so we know if the same item has been returned?
Unfortunately eBay don’t really play into the whole, invisible pen thing. Put it this way if I genuinely do get scammed and there is no way that I can protect myself which is very unlikely. There is always a last resort which always works against scammers. I’ve been scammed or attempted to scam me maybe 10 times in my whole career which isn’t a lot to be fair and every time I’ve managed to protect myself and make sure that I’m not out of pocket. Drop me a message on Insta. I’ll tell you
I just will let eBay system deal with the seller if have problem with seller because seller wasting my time by not shipping time frame I normally don't have problem with sellers but there time waster sellers out there
Bit of a waste of time. The thing to do, if you want the views to pay for it, is to hand deliver. Pretend you are a courier. That way you know a badly wrapped packet was delivered intact. Never underestimate the ability of couriers and carriers to smash parcels, no matter how well packed. You could have taken a photo of her and she would not object. Not a long term solution but for a vid, it would be fun.
I bet you were raging when they didn’t file that refund request id have been on edge each day waiting for it 🤣 i hope they leave good feedback for the absolute mental packaging nae ones breaking that
Number one I don’t think TH-cam has enough characters in the comment for me to actually be able to do that 😅 and number two is probably breaking all kinds of GDPR, so I won’t, but. People that I’ve blocked might be absolutely fine for you.
Only the best for my buyers 🤙 £21 for 30cm by 450m on ebay and it goes fast. Seriously tho good packaging that and useful for other sellers to see how it should be done. Maybe you could be a spokesman for vinted sellers they defo need to learn how to pack 🙈
Ricky why don't you actually deliver it personally.... The video would be epic... Actually hand them it intact on video.... Man that would have been epic.
@@RickyResells I understand the suspicion tho, I sold a 3d bluray player for £200, the account was recently opened, I was convinced I was going to get scammed, but it's been two months and no problems, strange things happen, I was absolutely convinced I was going to get scammed, but ended all good.
That's defo a pre meditated purchase with ill intent. Well packaged though buddy...think the over packing and the previous blocks put the buyer off going through with the scam as they knew you knew 😁 - Mind you, no matter what courier you go with and no matter if you purchase insurance....nobody covers ceramics, clocks/homewares as such or some electronics. And dodgy buyers know this and exploit it...hence why they send a message beforehand with "a feeling". They know you can't claim, and you have to refund them anyway. Little bastards.
Quite possibly, however, I have had successful claims in fact, one last week of a stoneware tray which was smashed 50 quid refunded from Evri. Appreciate the comment dude good to see you here.
Being a new reseller this has helped alot. Appreciate it

This got to be bomb proof now hahahahahha I was laughing so much on this video :D Cheers!

Simple - cancel the pot - “address issues”
Can’t they not leave you a negative for that
Not if you choose change of address, but I would never cancel under false pretences anyway, especially for something like this. As long as you do everything by the book, you are covered. Sellers do have protection too. I have initiated these protections many many times.
I always go with my gut feeling I wouldn’t have sent it but glad you didn’t have a problem in the end.

That was my plan

You can block buyers with a low feedback amount. Anyone with no feedback or something you should block to weed out these idiots.
When I used to pack up a box people would say is it going air fright it would look just like the way you have packed it. Trust no one.👍👍👍👍👍

In the video, I did say that it doesn’t normally bother me about people being New. I don’t care about any of that.
You should have drove there and hand deliver it 😅 just to see his face 😂
Now that would’ve been something😅
That would have been my suggestion - however - they’d then say not received as no tracking…. Been there
I'm surprised you didn't use any filler foam to make sure it was really protected....
That would just be over the top now, come on 😏

insuring is a waste of time on glass and ceramics, the companies dont cover them, same for vintage eletronics specifically for evri
I’ve got plenty of ceramic payouts mate.
Wish you had fragile tape to cover that thing😂
Now that would just be excessive 😛
Turns out your gut feeling was too much greggs
I’ve been cutting back actually
Slightly used eBay system deal with thease sellers avoid blocking at end the day buyer paying for item
I can’t work out what you’re saying, mate, to be honest. Rephrase.?
I just will let eBay system deal with the seller if have problem with seller because seller wasting my time by not shipping time frame
I normally don't have problem with sellers but there time waster sellers out there
Do they allow claims on breakables? Just wondered if insuring was pointless on that. In any case you pack very well.
Yes, claimed 59,99 for a broken stoneware muffin tray just three days ago.
@RickyResells oh right perhaps depends who your sending with. They normally do there best not to pay out on breakages.
New standard for your ceramics sales Ricky 😂
Absolutely not, I could’ve stopped after two stages of packing, normally never have issues. Just wanted to be extra over the top for this one 😅😅
In addition to all you did, id buy a stamp off Temu and print on each item "Third Eye Security Protected". Great Business Name..Boom Boyo
😅😅
Bit of a waste of time.

Thats a bit extreme to yourself a load of packaging supplies
The packaging probably cost me 19p mate come on.
Right to do what you did mate
too late now but you can get a uv pen and mark it so it doesnt so you can prove its not yours
Missed a trick there, could have put it inside a bigger box, void filled and padded out with bubble wrap 😂
Damn!
Im surprised you didnt drive and hand deliver lol
Is that Logitech for the PS5?! Wanna sell it?! ☺️😆
It was for the PS4 sold it long ago this video took a month to make 🤣
I didnt think you could see the buyers address details untill they paid for the item. I will keep a look out for this on my next offer lol.
You can’t see the address, you can only see the postcode.
