- It's time!! We are heading to the Port of Seattle to board the Norwegian Bliss to take us to Alaska!! Are we excited? Umm... YES!! The ship is absolutely beautiful and we take off running. We walk all around the ship exploring and getting to know our home for the next week. We have a yummy lunch in the Garden Cafe and take off to explore some more. We could not be happier with this ship!! What an adventure we are about to have...

Me and my wife just got home from our Alaskan cruise aboard the norwegian bliss and it was our 30 yr wedding Anniversary AMAZING

I was watching this on the tv and my daughter was in the room, she saw you guys and then the twins and said "They do not look old enough to have kids that age." Imagine her surprise when I told her about the older ones lol. She said "Well then they look really good for their age." :-)

I miss going down to the Edmonds waterfront (about 20 minutes north of Seattle) on the weekends to watch all the cruise ships sailing away. It's been so long since they've stopped. I can't wait for them all to start up again!
I’ve had braces 20 years ago & I still remember having them but the funny this that I loved having them. Yes I’m weird but it was fun to me preteen teenager years for like 2 years.

Fantastic footage as always. Our very first cruise was to Alaska from Seattle and we walked from the middle of Seattle (dumb Aussies) all the way to the cruise port, which was the one you filmed in the distance only to find it was closed & on the way back we got belted with rain so caught the bus back to town, still as our first overseas trip nothing was going to phase us - it was awesome. Looking at your footage re this trip, you are all totally happy & that is how it should be.

Over here ( in the UK) everyone dresses more smart then smart/ casual for embarkation.
Strange they showed the other football match. I guess that’s as they thought there’d be too many Seahawk fans on board and it could be a bit bias.

We were on the Bliss last year to Alaska. This year we were on the Joy to Alaska. We definitely prefer the Bliss.

We loved the Norwegian Bliss. My family and I were on the Sept. 15 sailing. You were right after us. We went to the Seahawks/Saints game after disembarking. I hope you were able to stop at every port. We had to miss Ketchikan due to bad weather.
Oh that is so cool that you made the game!!! Yes, we were able to stop in each port. I was worried as I had heard ships weren’t making it into Ketchikan.

Love the Bliss...been on her twice (15 day inaugural Panama Canal and 6 day Pacific Coastal). Going in 35 days out of NOLA on the Getaway...can't wait! And while Seattle is beautiful, there is nothing like sailing out of NYC past the Statue of Liberty.
We will be on the Getaway on 1/26!!! We definitely have to sail from NYC!
This makes me more excited for our Alaskan Cruise this June. Been to Seattle in 2016, we enjoyed hiking in Mount Rainier. You have a beautiful family❤

It is so much fun to step on a new ship. We will be taking our first Norwegian cruise in December on the Encore. The Bliss looks like a beautiful ship.
Love your videos. All of ours are Carnival. Leaving on the Vista in April with the kids and grandkids. We will try the Alaska cruise some day. NCL looks great. We were on the Breeze and saw you both. We are cruise enthusiasts too. We will have 3 cruises this year. Going to circumnavigate Australia on Monday Oct 14 for a 30 day cruise. We enjoy Epic Cruises. Biggest complaints, on cruises of that length there is little entertainment, beds too hard and ow quality food. Last cruise and this one on Holland America. Food was undercooked, poor quality and presentation sucked. We will be on a Seabourn cruise next spring as we do a 36 day Amazon. Shoutout!!! Linda&Harold

Alisa, I hope you commandeered that bathroom and made the gents use the facilities in the fitness center to get cleaned up. That saves a world of time when you share a cabin or even a hotel room! [And when "dropping the kids off at the pool," remember to do the courtesy flush as soon as it hits the water! That eliminates odors escaping into the cabin! (Don't let it sit and stew!) Or tell them to take care of that business in the fitness center locker room too LOL]
We have only cruised Disney (once) and Princess. We have done Alaska from L.A. and will be again next July. The Norwegian Bliss looks like a ship I would like to cruise on. Thanks for sharing!

We got off the Bliss a month ago and I'm ready to go back! Looks like you're all having a good time.
When we sailed with our son and his friend we just booked an adjoining room and it came out to about the same price as all cramming in one room.
On this sailing 3&4th guest sailed free so it was a significant savings over two cabins.

I was on that ship in April and the staff was bad to us at the laser tag
I went on the Bliss last October. It was before they started the Alaskan cruises. Our cruise went to the Caribbean. Not into cold weather cruises.
If you have the time, I’d love a video breakdown comparing and contrasting the Bliss with the Joy. Thanks for your great content!

I was on the Bliss last year in one of the inaugural sailings. It’s an awesome, beautiful ship. I’m guessing you enjoyed it a lot.
3:59 no Sydney, Australia is the best to sail from. It is spectacular sailing out of Sydney harbour

We were on the same cruise, I saw you filming the 1st day. I have been on a lot of cruises, the Bliss was stunning. If they only served Coca Cola products!

Love your videos!! I am sailing on the Bliss to the Mexican Riviera in March 2022 and was wondering if you know of any issues with staying on Deck 8 Balcony room? If so, what deck would you recommend? Thank you
We have stayed in this area and it is a very convenient location! But you are above the theater so don't plan on going to bed early as you will hear the show below you. Personally, I like decks 11-12 as you have cabins above and below you and it is nice and quiet.
Now I’m wishing we’d booked the Bliss 😂 told you I’d be going back and forth a gizillion times before setting sale 🛳. I can’t wait to watch the next one!

I seen all tiny suit cases did you do a packing vlog for this Alaska cruise.. sorry might have missed was on European cruise. Curious to know what ya packed in those seeing it is colder and having to pack thicker items to wear.

Hubby went to Alaska to work a waterfall resort (fishing resort)and I went to Alaska to spend a few days with him (for anniversary) in Ketchikan and we watched cruise ships come in to port! Hi to all! How far can a person book a cruise? I didn't book ,a teacher for the special needs class went to the travel agent to book the class cruise.

Seattle is like one of our north west cities here in the UK called Manchester as it also rains a lot there its one of if not our wettest city here in the Uk and I live about 25-30 miles away from it but where I live most of the rain Manchester gets it misses us

Hey guys just watched your video to board the bliss. Me & my family sailing on the bliss to Alaska this coming October 2021 and wanted to know what hotel you guys stayed at when you took your trip to Alaska?
We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in the downtown area. Basic hotel but great location!
The food/snacks in the observation area were good but they never rotated anything. It was the same food all 14 days of the cruise. :-(
