NCEA LEVEL 1 STATS INTERNAL - EVALUATE MULTIVARIATE DATA - ANALYSE SHIFT AND OVERLAP

In the SIXTH video of this series, we will learn how to analyse the data. In the third and fourth of our analysis, we are going to analyse the shift and overlap of the IQR. For shift, the one who is shifted more to the right indicates that 1 group has a larger spread or distribution than the other. In overlap, if there is an overlap, we cannot claim that 1 is larger than the other but if there is an no overlap, then 1 distribution is larger than the other.

@@Sam-qg7nb if there is an overlap, you say "There is an overlap between the IQR of the forward and back weights. This indicates that you cannot claim that the forward rugby player weights is larger than the backs weight."
