Tubes - with your chipping, a great tip I was given was doing a putting stroke with a 56. Just started with getting the 'nip' and gradually improved to get the feel for different shots around the green. Keep going!

With the drain cover, if you’re having a really bad round you’re allowed to lift the cover and disappear down it, clubs included it and get your brother to put the cover back on. Loving the content as always and it’s such a frustrating game at times. You have both improved so much.

A suggestion for possible video idea. Watching your videos has given me an interest in learning how to play - literally never played before. I would guess there might be others like me who watch your stuff. The video idea is maybe showing beginners how you guys improved your handicaps - a ‘month in the life’, visits to driving range, lessons, rounds of golf you play, key equipment etc etc There could be a summer / winter aspect as well as obv it’s a lot more difficult to play in winter - so what do you do (apart from going to Dubai!)? Anyway - just a thought.
I would love to watch you both go get some lessons, especially with Dan grieve, I’ve been following his stuff for the past 3 months and I’ve got so much better in my short game and confidence has shot up. Also would like to see you both get fitted for clubs aswell.

Please ange - take your time over your shots!! That first drive was unreal, then the second shot would’ve been so much better if you’d just had a practice swing or a good look at the hole. Understandably buzzing after the drive (as we all would be too) but there was defo a birdie in there for you me ol mate. Regardless of this , love you and love tubes and love scotty. I'd love to see a recurring event each year between the two of you (maybe the Bulldog too). A 4 round stroke play series over May, June, July and August at Foxhills, winner gets a green jacket with a fox embroidered on it. I also thought it was a nice touch having a Golf Life Legend up at Royal Troon, but that's just to give me some hope 😂
The series you started showing your progress through range sessions, lessons, practicing and handicap progression would still be a favourite of mine, if it started again. Committing to a series would also “force” you guys to hit the range more and help you achieve your goals while creating content
Both of you are better than I ever was and hit many great shots. Some things I've noticed about Tubes: Around the green on wastage lies, grip down the club a little bit, take a shorter swing and accelerate through more. In a greenside bunker, open your stance, open the club blade a bit and again really accelerate through the sand. The missed putt on the 11th (after a brilliant approach shot and chip) and also on 17th, your wrists broke as you hit the putt - just swing your arms like a pendulum. When Ange hits a good drive it's a real belter and his short game is pretty solid - just needs to eliminate those wayward drives and I can see him getting into single digits. Golf is the most frustrating game - don't worry about the anger. Up the Golf Life.
I think this year you both get around/below 10 HC both far more consistent these days - just think of it as 2/3 less dud shots a round which is easily doable. Keep going boys loving the journey, channel and progression in your games

Tubes. On the second hole you said to yourself “do not decell”. An eminent Golf psychologist once said to me be careful what you say. Firstly your subconscious is ALWAYS listening. It don’t understand the negative. So when you say “do not decell” it doesn’t process the NOT. You then repeatedly mentioned decell. That’s no way to create a positive mental attitude. Another “righting your wrongs” doesn’t help. I would suggest if you can’t say positive things don’t say anything at all. Your golf has really come on well. Now you owe it to yourself to sort out your golf mind. Good luck. It will take practice but what a difference it will make. Best wishes.

challenge other youtube channels to a tournament, dont all have to be golf channels, ask Jolly to play a round, make it into a charity event. Enter an amateur tournament, have a year long match up against each other, keep score all year long. Also while im here, could we see a little map of the hole with approx positions? its hard to tell where you all are in relation. great channel guys, keeps me going when its dark and cold out, love the content, up the golf life!

Tubes get a 10L paint bucket and about 50-100 balls and either in the garden or the park just keep chipping balls into the bucket with your 56 degree from 3 feet to 25 yards and everything in between until you feel like you can do it without thinking about it. I used to do it so you started from 20-25 yards and had to chip everything from where it finished until every ball was in the bucket. Committing to Sliding the club open faced under a ball from 3 inches away from the bucket the ball jumping straight up and in takes big cajones when a thin meant it's through the old mans greenhouse. Do it every day for about 2 hrs and in 3-6months chipping won't be your problem. I didn't play golf for over 35 years until recently but the hours I put in as a kid means my chipping and putting is still pretty good and still the best part of my game.
tubes look at dan greeves videos for your chipping my chipping has gone another level since implementing what dan said surrounding chipping its a game changer and your pulling everything right because your not rotating your stopping your follow through

Lower your expectations, you’ll lessen the pressure. When you’re having a bad round think about the position you’re in and enjoy the day. Also, practice off the course not on it. If you’re not chipping well on that day. Don’t chip. Go and practice chipping off the course. If you don’t practice chipping you can’t expect yourself to be good at it. Cheers golf life!

golf is a game where you can look very average at times and question your life choices but the next shot you can look like tiger woods thinking you've nailed the game to then go back to a complete rookie again on the next shot.... what a beautiful game

Think you should do a Golf Life golf day somewhere. Would be a good laugh
Lower your expectations, you’ll lessen the pressure. When you’re having a bad round think about the position you’re in and enjoy the day.
Also, practice off the course not on it. If you’re not chipping well on that day. Don’t chip. Go and practice chipping off the course. If you don’t practice chipping you can’t expect yourself to be good at it.
