As mentioned in the video, windows versions that are NOT Windows 11 or a Windows 10 version that is 2004 or ABOVE will NOT be able to do this. The Measuresleep program will just give you the 15.6250 ms resolution every time regardless of what you run for Timer resolution or for the benchmark. Switch to Windows 11 and apply the registry fix if you want to continue with this video or go to a Windows 10 version that is OLDER THAN 2004. Can you detail or give the path that your script is editing in the registry, in case I want to delete it or undo it? I know doing a restore point would also suffice, I just would like to better understand what a thing I'm clicking on is changing in the OS registry.
@@erraticfn yeah i figured it out, basically you have to try and switch USB ports for your devices until it doesnt happen anymore, try switching locations / back/front etc, make sure you try all combinations but after you change the USB port for a device you have to reboot the pc and no, not reboot, but shutdown and then start it back up, dont touch it for like 5 mins and then try see if the sleep spikes to .5 if it does, then swap the usb ports for each device again, until you shuffle to a proper setup that windows can deal with. If all fails, try resetting CMOS battery and then try reshuffling the usb ports your devices are connected to, sometimes even re-seating the GPU, booting with no gpu, then re-seating it back on will help windows assign different IRQs for the devices. took me a couple of days but now I'm owning (i'm unreal).

IF YOU'RE PLAYING COD OR VALORANT DO NOT DO THIS. It will fuck up your timer and delta values and starts jumping around back and forth unless you stabilize it with only .5000 and not .5070-.5060 etc. I still think it is a useless feature if it means that the game will just force other timings. Disable it immediately if the game just forces itself. It's a desync function at that point.

always make sure the content creator is legit and has a discord or something to communicate. a lot of scammers just buy views and subscribers to make you think that they’re legit but I vouch for Xilly he knows his shit and the ppl who hate just dont do his tweaks right or have outdated hardware that need different tweaks. don’t be a noob, learn from your mistakes and get more knowledgeable on your pc

Just a note - if you've previously used another timer resolution utility and have entered BCDEdit commands in the command prompt, this will not work! Those settings will keep this method from working properly. You will have to go back to the command prompt and re-enter the BCDEdit commands with the opposite values to "reset" your system back to the way it was. THEN you can use this method, and it will work!
Don't run time resolution app as admin if you use any rgb software like openrgb or so , will limit TR from applying whatever ms you write in also TR will be set to 5000ms when playing WZ 😉 as form me personally can't see any diff.

Yeah there are multiple tests done by the likes of Savitarax, Khorvie Tech, etc. I used to think all of these tweaks are not useful at all but I've noticed a very nice difference on input lag with the tweaks applied.

Every pc is different, 0.5 is just a measurement for you too start testing.
If that specific number works for you, keep it.

That being said you should always have registry backups and system restore points in case anything goes wrong.
