Kult Of Khaos Got a pretty good band I'm in coming up. This is not what Anthrax would call NOT! THIS IS NOW. Besides, Black Veil Brides and Darkness are trying to bring back Glam Metal, so new gen. thrash will be coming round to kick their asses into the ground.
I think it's a bit strange how Anthrax isn't more popular. This song is probably the most radio friendly as early 80s thrash gets (clean, melodic vocals, Malcolm Young -style flowy rhythm guitar, reasonably short, catchy etc.), and this is probably the earliest that a thrash metal band had a music video produced, way before Metallica and Megadeth got theirs in the 90s. Even just this song alone could have carried them into the mainstream the same way Enter Sandman (and Symphony of Destruction to a lesser extent) did, but years earlier.
@@hammothw4814 The song pretty rules. The intro, the intro riff, the chorus... and the video was innovative for the time, like the ones from "I Want Out" by Helloween and "Cum On Feel The Noize" by Quiet Riot, probably.

I can't find my way out of this maze
'Cause I don't care
Fall in, fall out
Gone without a doubt, help me
I can't take the blame
They don't feel the shame
It's a madhouse
Or so they claim
It's a madhouse
Oh, am I insane?
My fears behind me, what can I do
My dreams haunt my sleep at night
Oh no, won't learn their lesson, white fills my eyes
And only then they see the light
even Stalin listens trash metal.
I
Uncle Stalin don’t put me in the goolag.
Uncle joe is a little squirt
I'M 50 and still love heavy metal music I always will till the day I die my dad did he was 75 when he died me and my brother miss him he was a cool dad
I'm 14, and already plan on having my own band
I used to wait patiently for this to come on headbangers ball when I was a little grom, this video after all these years is wicked fkn awesome.

@Ted Rocka Yes you are.
Every time I watch this video I think my computer froze at 2:03.
Wow same!
Can't get used to it
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
First time watching this, I literally thought my ipad was having problems
Raizing three kids, being a mom for 20years. If Ihad not come across
this, Ihad completly forgotten I used to jam🎸
do covers of ANTHRAX! Guitar and vocals⚡😂
Watching this made me wanna play again😂 Igotta ❤ love this thank you 🎸⚡❤
DAMN, THIS IS SUCH A JAM!!!
probably one of the best music videos ever made I miss old metal
BS Logic me too, let's bring it back!
What are you talking about? This is the worst music video I have ever seen... Great song though!
28 years old and still a great song.
Age has nothing to do with how good a song is.
Indigo Verse Really? Thanks, I wasn't aware of that.
Jefferson Lambert Well now you know. Spread the word.
Indigo Verse I will. Happy Christmas. Long live Anthrax.
Indigo Verse True, but some tunes that sounded cool back in the day can sound really dated, cheesy or irrelevant today. Sabbath's Paranoid is fantastic example of an album that is still relevant and still sounds amazing even today.
It’s 2020, I’m 22, and my wife and I fuckin love this shit.
Wow married at 22? Im 19 and can't even get a girlfriend
What country are you from? 🤔
@@Mitchery good ole USA
@@plasticfork2449 keep yo head up bro it’ll happen. What worked for me was working on my self-love. Cant love someone else if you don’t truely love yourself first ❤️
@@paulharrison4704 thanks man
Love this album ! It's a classic!

It ran out of space on mine.
🙅Excellent creativity👍... ..too bad the last folder is empty though.
@Im wearing tights that I borrowed from your mum. Dude... You got whooshed, not him.
Everything except spreading disease
why the fuck you have bad songs folder
Back in the 80s where thrash metal kicked asses!
Yeah, these days it's apparently all about technicality and retarded double-bass that oversaturates the song. Not to mention the generally tryhard vocals.
obviously you must be the kid on you profile picture to think somethink like that ... there's still good Trash Metal Bands nowadays, one of my favorite is Municipal Waste or Havok, you just have to get off the road of Mainstream/Pioneers Trash Bands of 80's ...
Cyriaque1000 i know. I'm really into these bands too. I was more about the metal generation. All those metalkids. Metal will never die |m|
Municipal waste are like a cross between suicidal tendencies and SOD.
That guitar tone is heavy even in 2021
何回見てもカッコいいわ😶🌫
0:24 If my guitar could laugh, it would probably sound like this.............
I like the laughing guitar in Megadeth's "Bad Omen"

Rob Scallon? Is that you?
that must be his criminaly insane father. So when Anthrax played at the hospital, his father was hooked from there on. And that's what planted the seed for Robs metal ways. But of course after his father was released back into the general public where he met the soon to be mom of evil genius Rob!
Maybe Rob can time travel.
+x1StapleGun Had you ever watched Deliverance?
+x1StapleGun hah lol
+x1StapleGun hah lol
Oh Yeah! Going way back to fill the playlists!
I still remember watching this video and hearing this song for the first time on MTV. The next day, I went to the store to buy the tape. Incredible times.

Xd so similar
Funniest joke I have heard in a while. This made my day!
@@billgaming8623 thank you sir, you made my day.....
Lol hahhaha
anthrax is just plain fun dude
one of the best riffs from them...and antisocial
So cool..The classic and best Anthrax line up
Thank you so much Vice City, for ever the best GTA in the history.
nachoakdful LoL
nachoakdful jesus christ.. its pretty sad the fact that you all in the comments discovered anthrax trough gta vc. little kids
Nightmare1532 Yes, and? What's the big problem? In my country heavy metal, glam, etc. aren't almost played on the radio, mtv has lost so long ago his golden years... so, if it wasn't for a video game how do you expect that I and many more "kids" discover anthrax? "Adult", your comment is really stupid.
Glad you found Anthrax man, they rock.
nachoakdful i aint an aduld 😂
but at least you found them. i have a radio called Rock FM where i found them though
Underrated one of the big 4. Such great vocals, best thrash vocalist ever.
Me and the Boys at a Sleep Over
Dude the actors in this are legendary! XD
GTA Vice City
:)
VROCK !!! i always listen to this song when i escape from the police or raining blood :)
melhor jogo
I played vice city yesterday and never noticed it was by anthrax
Raining blood, 2 minutes to midnight, bark at the moon... Good times
R.I.P. Scott Ian hair
I remember the day this came out... what a tremendous band...
This song is the first Anthrax song I ever heard. I was around nine years old and just loved how heavy it was. This was considered very heavy back in 1986. Over thirty years later I am still a huge Anthrax fan and this is still my favorite song from them. They are still putting out great music.
so this is the official video of Welcome Home Sanitarium? :D
I see what you did there
+OpenShores ayy lmao
+OpenShores XDDDDDDDDD

Hell yeah

This music video is pure Gold!! I can't stop watching it!! 😂😂😂
😵😵😵
When our teacher leaves the room... And comes back.
Criminally underrated lead vocalist. The fact the he wasn’t even into this kind of music when he joined and his stylings were meant for other kinds of music turned out to be a massive advantage here.
Belladona didn't changed of haircut in 30 years !
Unfortunately, nowadays he wears a wig. Hair loss is a bitch.
Admiral Bongo It's not a wig...
Ocean Sage Believe me, it is.
Admiral Bongo Scott lost his hair and shaves it and looks more badass now. I've already decided when my hair thins beyond anything remotely decent, I'm shaving my head every day, wearing Ben Shermans and Docs, and getting into great shape. I'll probably get more women that way than what I'm doing now anyway.
Ryan JN ahahhahhhaha possitive !!!
Spreading the Disease is one of the greatest thrash records ever. Some of the sickest drumming and riffing that I've ever heard
That guitar tone still killing it in 2024!
That opening riff still rings loud today Headbanger forever
