      Wouldn't you just need to keep the video rolling while you remove pieces? Just make sure to get your hands out of the frame between each piece. Then you can edit the whole thing.

    Thank you for this most excellent review. I say that because you can tell that you're not just giving all positive comments on it. I like how you're showing us all the negative points as well. Also doing the puzzle and showing us those little fine details that really matter to some people. A fair and honest review. Everything you said about the puzzle looks exactly as you say. I sort of think the puzzle pieces need to snap together a little bit more tighter, at least that is my opinion from the way it looked in the video I would appreciate a more tighter puzzle piece fit.

    • @sperocras
      @sperocras 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Steve Kay I can’t help but wonder if the tiny gaps/loose fit between pieces is intentional to allow spaces for the glue to infiltrate and hold everything together, since that’s clearly how they’re marketing the product to be finished.

    The designs are cute, but nah, I wouldn't spent $50 on a puzzle, especially with that quality. In my country I can have a nice Ravensburger, Educa or Cobble hill (really top quality as far as the pieces go) for ~$15. Clemontini are also a good brand, I can get them for around $10-12, or sometimes even $5-6 when they sell it in lidl. I am talking about 1000 pieces, or in the last case - sometimes even 2000 pieces.

    Considering the average price of posters in that general size, and regular puzzles of the same size, I'm honestly *extremely* shocked with how cheap these puzzles are, it's no wonder they have to skimp somewhere because even with how they have things now their profit margin must either be quite small or even in the negative

    As a new york area puzzler, raised by puzzlers, and friends with puzzlers, i’ve experienced quite a few puzzles. Packaging is always nice, but i prefer packaging that enhances the puzzle experience (plastic storage bag, puzzle poster, sturdy box, etc.). I’m a sucker for a puzzle with quality pieces that fit well, don’t delaminate and feel comfortable to the touch. So i guess this all puts me in the category of thumbs down for this line of puzzles.
    Loved the video and the thoughtful positioning of filming so we could see the entire puzzle. Karen, you’re the best! p.s. on your recommendation i purchased a few Pomegranate puzzles, and have been working on one during covid lockdown. Great recommendation!

Even the most expensive puzzle pieces have problems, it is because many pieces are handled many times and tend to weaken as they are handled. Nothing glue can't fix. still, it is very enjoyable for people who love doing this type of puzzle with the bonus of stress relief. Have a great day.

    Really nice review, youve got a nice order in which you try to cover everything that needs to be said and it makes sense when following along, listening, its also nice to hear things from you that i can only agree at, like that the pieces need to have the highest quality and also the fact that you dont like to use the glue. As a kid i did that 2-3x with my puzzles but in the end i learned that for me they are more a toy than a piece of art, so i shouldnt do that at all (and nowadays i use to compare it with the lego movie, where the message also is to not glue such toys together as theyre meant to be creatively used more than once). to your question if i would personally puzzle something like that: i wouldnt buy it for the price (i measure money/puzzle time), i wouldnt use it as a piece of art at home so i wouldnt frame it, and the picture is... ok. not something i would really like to puzzle. same as you, i like colorful puzzles but mostly colorful environments, and i know you dislike most of the landscape puzzles, but ones with a beautiful sunset for example are the ones that always catch my attention in a store. (but currently im on the 18,000 piece magical bookshelf xxl puzzle so yeah, i guess i wont have to buy a puzzle for some time now :D)

    Really enjoy the channel, one thing I have to complain about though is that you show the puzzle fully completed at the beginning of the video.

    I am the father of 4 and in a value/cheap phase right now. So the price would knock me out of considering one of these. I really enjoy your channel, I was finishing a frustrating puzzle this week and looked up puzzles on You Tube and found your channel. Watched some that you posted in the past and look forward to seeing more. New York.

    OMG - this is the one I’ve been waiting for! I’m hoping to get some of these but who knows whether they’d make it to Australia. I’d be very happy to fork out bigly for them - they’re lovely. The shipping from New York will cost a fortune! Excellent review - enjoyed it.

    Nice gift for a puzzle lover. I'd rather get this than a bunch of flowers or a box of chocolates. But pieces should lock in place.

    Been watching your videos& was excited because my son just got a super cool outer space/galaxy puzzle for Christmas. With how big the box was, I was assumed it had a lot of pieces. Made my husband go out in the cold and get it- come to find out, it was 48 pieces

    Great introduction! I like all of the images for puzzling purposes, including your New York one, but if I was picking one for the wall it would be a toss between the garden or the astronaut! 💗🚀🌿

    Have you done any Cobble Hill puzzles? I love the way the pieces feel. This puzzle, the pieces don't look great, although the image and packaging is lovely. The first Cobble Hill puzzle we did was a Christmas Sweater Cookie print, and it was so much fun - we like bold color images that we can sort. Maybe you could do a comparison video of the top selling brands? Better yet, do one comparing specialty puzzles and one on puzzles you can get at stores like Walmart, so, top of the line/price range and mid range.
