So, behind the scenes - I recorded quite a few more tips, but I was worried the video was getting too long so I cut it short at ten (I figured 20 minutes of me talking was more than enough 😜) . Let me know here if you'd like me to release a part 2 or something with the rest of them at some point.
please release a part 2! awesome video, learned so much & especially found the text reveals and camera motion helpful. This would make a great series too
Easily, EASILY i tell ya, one of the most usefulest and bestest and to the pointest without any unnessecary talk AE tutorial I have ever seen, kind of. Thank's a million for showing how even amateurs at AE can benefit from what is otherwise hidden knowledge in " advanced" tut's. I bow my head as I click follow.
The Shutterstock channel is coming through lately! I really like the style, humor and pace of these videos. Great production quality, actually useful tips and no useless rambling. Awesome job.
I've watched a ton of AE tutorials and it is increasingly harder for me to find great tips that I haven't seen elsewhere. Thank you for a few new things that are very helpful!
This is video is awesome! It's not some revolutionary effect that I am gonna try and forget, but small tips that will make some things easier, things that is used a lot. Thank you for sharing!
Great video Todd, really useful and well presented 👍 Been working with After Effects daily for years and I still pick up new things every time I watch tutorials like this - you never stop learning!
Wow this is awesome. No BS, straight to the point and very concise. I love it, and I learned a lot by watching. Just queued up Part 2. Hoping for more! Excited to put this advice to use.
Great tutorial Todd! You never disappoint... I appreciate the time and expertise that you put into all your tutorials. I hope that you, Robbie, and the Team at Shutterstock Tutorials enjoy a wonderful Holiday Season with friends and family. Be well and stay encouraged!
Really useful thanks! Think the null stacking is going to save me a bunch of time in a current project. I usually prefer a border of uniform width round photos (#5) but a minor thing.
Thank you SOOO much for your AE Playbook ! Just what I need right now. But I also wonder how do you construct the notebook animation at the beginning of each chapter. Can I find a tutorial for that anywhere? Thanks so much
Wow, this is *SO* helpful. I especially wanted to understand how you use the null objects in your lower thirds. I do have a quick question: Can we use/alter the free lower thirds and use it in a corporate video? My company is really picky about licensing. Thanks in advance!
Hi, While you are moving the anchor point, if you hold down Ctrl than drag it, it snaps that side and corner points. You won't need to zoom in. Nice tricks btw. =)
Do you ever reverse a pre-comp to reverse the animations, ie, for the title text? I feel like that's a great method, as it perfectly reverses the animation of each object 1:1. I'm still learning, though, so feel free to let me know if this is wrong to do.
For those of you who asked for a part 2 - here you go! th-cam.com/video/2bx8uVs8JVM/w-d-xo.html

I've watched quite a few AE tutorials recently, these and the next set of ten are the best I have seen by a mile.

man,i love your studio. I wanted to ask that when you plece an image on image in AE. Is it possible to blend both of them through some plugin?
