Very nice! Really like you showed how you decided you didn't like it and you stuck with it! This is more like real life, things dont always go how you want. I've had to walk away sometimes and give it some thought before I return and finish my project. It's not always done on the first try, thank goodness for gesso, gives us a second or third try!

Love this project! The yellow you brought in at the end really pulled everything together so nicely! I can relate to how long some projects can take, I’m always asking myself - is that it? No, it needs...hmmm and then more play time...sometimes I have to tell myself out loud “ ok...walk away, do it now!” Or I’ll never “finish” 🤣😂🤷♀️ What’s worse is the contemplative state of looking at the darn thing forever...🧐🤓🤓🤓 So...to finally answer your question, I love layers, all the colourful pastey, inky, waxy, painted, sprayed, layers and the very best part is the transformation!!
I love watching you do these projects. Your so so good at them.. the coloring process is amazing. I suck at building a composition. I need to buy one of martas kits where she sends you all pieces including mediums and step by step video instruction to do the project. Maybe if i have everything and can follow the video I will learn to be able to do it MYSELF . Your really inspiring and talented. I think the molds are the best investment for embellishments. They last forever and you can use tons of things in them.. embellishments can get really pricey. You got the right idea.
Megan Klobchar you can do it! Just start simple first. Pick your project. Altered item, canvas, or something else. Then pick your focal point.. build a little texture around it! Thank a so much for your kind words!! 🤗
