I've always loved the vocalist. His voice was pretty unique. Now that I listen to him... It sounds a lot better than before. Good stuff!
It's actually a different vocalist. The old one had a more old-school hardcore yell, this one has a mix of that and a king of metal scream.
darkstar100x the vocalist now was the guitar player originally.
Andrew (the current singer), was the nicest guy to talk to in the parking lot of the Fresno, CA show they played years ago.
I reeled him in to join my circle of friends, with a joint, which he happily obliged.

Man they've really changed. From a positive hardcore band to a party metal band that allows smoking and even fucking Coors product placement in their videos?
They should have really changed their name after Scott left. Possibly to "Washed Up Kids"
Don't get me wrong, I tried to continue my support for this band after Scott leaving, even saw a few impressive shows where Andrew sung the older songs as well as stuff of Broadcasting.
But they aren't Comeback Kid to me anymore. Turn It Around is a classic.
I could be totally reaching on this...but I'm pretty sure that's the point for this video. I mean the lyrics to this song are clearly about going down a path he knows he shouldn't have gone down and now he's dealing with the consequences. And the lyrics to "Didn't Even Mind" kind of talk about the same stuff. So I'm guessing this is either a jab at the party metal scene or a glimpse into his mistakes.
This song introduced me to Comeback Kid, and i kinda rather the newer stuff ive listened to. just a personal preference in music but i think this is so sick

Why try to #1 reinvent your selves now and #2 try to do it in a way that represents nothing. There's nothing creative or original about this video. Sorry guys. You're losing me.

I just think CBK used to stand for positives. "Turn it Around", lyrics like "Don't lose hope!" off of Wake the Dead. Inspiring this new generation of hardcore kids to get totally drunk is a negative plain and simple. I think CBK has in the past and still should stand for something more. It's a cheap image. It makes me sad because I really like CBK.
Eric Brown maybe take into consideration the lyrics of the song. "I should know better" for instance...

True true. I had no idea what the message is. I think I just expected more substance from a band that I've been listening to for over ten years. If I offended any members or non-edge types I apologize. "All idols fall away" I guess. Or maybe just make a video that and older edge dude doesn't like lol.
