My friend can you understand why they don't produce same Trance as they did 1997-2004 there are even some good tunes from 1996

This track and this video just makes me cry for how many years have been passed away and for how much legend this is. For how much passion artists like Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren used to give in their productions and collaborations but today they're just keeping ruining themselves and being even more commercial. How much would I give to see mainstream Trance be just like 15 years ago....that would be soooo amazing....thank God there are still less known artists who produce very Uplifting and Classic stylish Trance music so that means that thank God Trance music is still strong, up and incredibly popular and TRUE. NEVER allow Trance to die, NEVER let somebody ruin Trance Music!!!

***** Yes of course it can, of course the Virus is a Virtual Analog synth and not fully Analog like the Roland JP so that means it runs DSP(s) so the sound will always be digital even if it sounds analog but the Virus in its first 2 OSC has a mode called "HyperSaw" which is like the JP's SuperSaw.....by the way the Virus is such a legendary synthesizer and it is extremely powerful, most of all also a very dark but at the same time a very bright sounding synth.....check out my last uploaded video on my channel it's about a Trancy SuperSaw patch I made using my Virus TI and you'll see that it sounds incredibly great, incredibly Trancy hehehehe ;). By the way Trance music today is still rock strong and very alive thanks to minor artists like Johan Ekman, Robbie Van Doe, Manuel Le Saux, Astuni, Emanuele Congeddu, Simon O' Shine, Matt Bukovski, John Askew, Simon Patterson, and many many more ;) :P
DJ V.a.r. thanx...So if I buy Virus TI, it covers every A,B,C? I dont have to buy them also? What about Microwave? I saw one of DuMonde DJ`s saying they using microwave XT and Waldorf Q... and its very good for Trance.
Didn't really heard too much about Microwave and the others you mentioned. By the way about the Virus A, B and C we can say that the TI Series may sound barely less warm but on the other hand the TI family has more bits, and overall the audio engine works better and also they have a built in arpeggiator whilst the Virus A, B or C don't. And the TI family because they are named indeed TI it means Total Integration so you have a perfect integration between Hardware and Software: with Virus TI Control Software you basically control via USB every parameter in the synth. (Off course all takes place in the hardware) and you can use your Virus as an external soundcard too cause it's not only a standalone synth but indeed a sound card. As a synth the Virus TI Snow which is the weaker and cheaper model of the TI family but still so much powerful (that's why I chose it) with it you have up to 4 synth parts, so that means that you can play 4 different synth patches at the same time even if of these 4, 3 are useble via USB (all the audio and MIDI informations are sent with USB) and to use the last one you need to use the Output on your Virus's back. If you instead decide to buy a TI(2) Desktop or Keyboard you instead have up to 16 synth parts and more poliphony than the TI Snow but again at least for my work the TI Snow is the best choice and so much powerful and I would really recommend it to you on all Virus models cause also its audio engine is the exact same of the TI2 ;) what changes is that the Snow has 1 DSP and the TI2 has 2 of them and up to I think to remember 25% of elaboration power more and also 110 voices of poliphony whilst the Snow has 50 more or less. Take in consideration my advice cause I work a lot with my Snow and I can really tell you it will definitively be great for you too especially cause you want to start with it and you would also have the advantage cause it will still be a TI one to use all the sound banks for the TI series it will be compatible with every TI sound Bank as the same is for every TI synth ;)

The best synths to make Trance are (must have) Virus TI, Massive, Sylenth1, ABL2, Elektron Analog Four, Diva, Zebra2, Z3ta+2, Hive, Spire....

but yeah, Armin was a legend back in the 90s and early '00s but nowadays Trance no longer has that NRG or spirit it once had. Maybe 2016 might spark the revival of 90s style Trance again (I hope so!).

Vinyls, today are still in use so if you play them the luggage wil be the same
Reasonably sure they have backups with them just as well, USB sticks can get corrupted and instead of losing one vinyl record due to a serious scratch or something, you lose absolutely everything otherwise.
