I don’t think lining would put me off a bag I love, except when it’s thin cotton that’s all loose and baggy and looks cheap but I like this grey stripe. As far as the lining not going all the way down that’s a flaw not on all of them. All bags in the empriente line have this lining I guess they were sticking with that. The microfibre is luxurious I get that too.
You got me interested in the MCM bag. I would prefer pink though. Keep doing what you do so that we can invest our money in good things. Stay Fabulous!😍
I think you review was an honest one and you were so right about the fabric lining! I bought the bag like just hours ago and already felt it doesnt hold my things all the way to the bottom! But all in all the shape was nice and empreinte leather is luxurious.

The main reason I got it it was because my husband bought it for me and he is not a fan of the traditional monogram. So far it has been used everyday for a month. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree about the lining that's why I decided not to purchase this one in Empreinte . I have the original mono one with pull tab and love it inside and out.
I just got it last week, haven't inboxed it yet with all the Easter happenings. I agree about the lining, they really could have done better there, but I'm going to live with it. As for the bag...gorgeous....especially with the Confidence LV bandeau tried to the handle, and a small bag charm....love!

All empreinte bags come with this lining, I have owned the metis with the microfiber and I can tell you it is heavy and it is a dust collector. I appreciate your honesty, but as for me, it is my favorite LV bag I own. I find this bag has more room than the canvas. Send it back, but all the empreinte bags come with this lining. @ChampagneRoses Yes, you are correct, I used to own that bag, perhaps due to it being small, the bag was light. All the larger empreinte bags have the striped lining, I believe. :-)
Sweetheart, I truly almost kept it BUT!!! they are coming out with these new neverfull's that you can customize sometime at the end of next month, so i'm trying to save up some coin for that. The Blessed One I went to Bloomingdales in Atlanta this last visit and had EXCELLENT customer service. It may have been the best customer service I have ever had. Every time I visit I plan on returning to see the Associate who helped me.

Finally someone said it , I have friends that have this bag and love it and I'm sorry that lining is the first thing that bothered me ,I have an epi leather petit Noe and it has the alcantrara lining and no way can I picture it with that lining like the monogram pieces have a leather bag should not have textile lining I am still on the 8 month back logged list for a pochette Metis in monogram and I no longer have any interest in the pochette Metis I have seen way to many issues with it , I've already had to send my mini backpack for repair after 2 months , I feel LV is missing their mark on a lot of these bags lately and until they step up their quality game I'm sorry but I'm done purchasing from them ,I've been telling my friends about MCM and their gorgeous bags they are phenomenal ! Congrats on your tote...you are absolutely right about that lining it makes no sense
I thought of that too Michelle maybe that's the reason they didn't put the micro fiber lining inside the empriente to keep it lighter , I just don't believe a leather bag should have textile lining as a canvas bag does ,me petit Noe is not that heavy at all however I don't own any empriente bags and don't want any in the future I have found their canvas to be a lot more durable than their leather....I love the epi leather , empriente is not something that I see myself buying at least not at this time , I would love an epi leather speedy 30 but it's something I need to check out in person....I have added and got rid of different bags over the past few months , I have no plans to ever have 23 bags like my previous collection I have 8 right now all LV and I love what I have but unless they fix their QC issues for the moment I am done.....MCM is a brand a lot of people know nothing about it's made so sturdy , I almost purchased one but I let it go because I am an LV girl at heart I just truly hope they step up their game , their LE were all I ever used to purchase maybe that's why these new models bother me seeing prices rise and rise and quality go down and down is upsetting because they are my favorite fashion house and I have to back off at the moment and just take a break and see what happens with their quality lately hopefully they will start listening and fixing their issues

Girl I've learned there will always be those people who would rather hear what they want than someone who keeps it real , I would rather real but my honest take on this empriente having textile lining is because I feel LV felt the micro fiber lining would make the bag to heavy , no I have a petit Noe in epi leather and it was made with alcantrara lining which I believe is a step up from microfiber , it makes all the difference in my Noe however epi leather is a cheaper thinner leather compared to empriente ,I don't own any empriente pieces nor have I ever tried any on so I would have to see in person but from what I've seen and heard all of the empriente bags have textile lining ,don't know if this is true but I am going to look into it , I am still on the list for a pochette Metis in monogram and I wanted to get your opinion on the wear and tear of your monogram pochette Metis I have heard so many negative reviews I'm kind of turned off at this point please let me know
You are 100% right! The lining doesn't allow you to fully utilize the front pocket, I agree. Also with the (original) soft, microfibre lining you could slip in your readers, smartphone, iPad or Kindle without a case, and the lens/screen was still fine. I definitely wouldn't do that now. Disappointing. This is a great review! 👛 xx
You know sweetie that's a great point I didn't even think about our phones and readers. Especially if you go all out and spend a grip on some sunglasses. I don't alway's put them in a case you know, and I can only imagine the lenses would get scratched up.

To be honest if you want to be low key and (not so flashy) the empriente is the way to go. Both bags are beautiful so you really can't go wrong. Excellent cross body bag too! And you know I don't see them excessively when I'm out and about. BUT that damn cloth material on the interior of the Empriente burnt my chicken!
The Blessed One I preloved the monogram...the empriente started to look Coach like to me and i would've been sold on it if it had the gold grommets around the strap holes

The bag is cute, but I don't like how the inside divides into 3 compartments, I feel that restricts space. Also I can understand your frustration with because the material looks as if it's stiff and has no give. You're already restricted with those dividers and now more restricted because it's not pliable. So I jumped off the fence of the Metis all in all. I don't blame you for returning it. Although I do love the microfiber lining on the monogram metis, I think it would have made the leather version too heavy.

Hi Hun, eyebrows are healing nicely😍 Uhmm I had mixed feelings about the Pochette Metis in general. The bag is cute, but I don't like how the inside divides into 3 compartments, I feel that restricts space. Also I can understand your frustration with because the material looks as if it's stiff and has no give. You're already restricted with those dividers and now more restricted because it's not pliable. So I jumped off the fence of the Metis all in all. I don't blame you for returning it. I'm sorry but I don't understand the popularity of the Pochette Metis at all. I love my LV's and I have zero interest in it. It doesn't look like a bag that would be 2100.00 bucks!
