Thank you very much for the tutorial on balancing. I was about to send a second unit back! I am still tweaking mine to get rid of the loud humming. Anyone who invests in one of these should be prepared to spend a good hour for setup. The adjustments you make literally microscopic. But the hard work will pay off: The results are stunning.
i have this for 3weeks ,..it works ,the main problem is it hard to use with a zoom 16 -35mm zoom lens @16mm...the screw connected to the camera gets stuck when pulling the plate back to balance the tilt.banging my lens on the feiyu did scratch my lens up. when using the fey after balancing ,the handles started to come out the socket .for some reason it unscrews .one of my rubber handles isn't stable. when my battery dies,i have to unscrew the bottom plate and take the whole camera off just to take change the battery, then i have to balance it over again. Also, I can't zoom in and out without unscrewing the lens holder then rebalancing the tilt agin.aligning the connector isn't always in the correct position..now my connector won't come off ...
Help! I have this stabilizer and my camera is Canon 5d Mark III and the lens is 24-105mm but I couldn't set up the camera on the stabilizer, is it because of the lens? if yes, please advise me which lens i can use
can I put an external monitor on the top of the handle with any ways ?

i have the same gimbal with a panasonic gh4 but i can't stabilize it! but even if i don't stabilize, it works the same but sometimes with little vibrations, can i use it like this? or it will break it?
Hi, İts nice totrial.but missing same poit of how to blance camera.İts diffrent Camera with diffrent wieght.can you make clear.how to make blance camera when chance the lens.you have explain about position.İ try many time cant make blance my GH4 with 12-35mm lens..so can explian how fixed and wich position...Tks
Hi, nice vidéo, I am having trouble balancing my Canon 700 D, even though , I went to the limit on both side trying to adjust it but it still tilts back, is this Gimbal compatible with the Canon 700D? thanks dude
you cannot compare a DSLR and the OSMO. Anyway obviously Canon would win in any situation... But the MG holds up only 1070g so you will restricted to lighter lens.
+Cherrard Cohen Make sure that the camera body is well tight it in the gimbal, on the side is well. Use the thing to tight the lens as well (sorry for my english)
lol, great to see a singaporean tech review channel but why didn't you address the issues at 9:39? You couldn't have missed that! A review is meant to demonstrate both pros and problems fairly! Also, you should improve the cinematography of the demo shots and do something more like a realistic test like shooting skateboarders or moving objects rather than just demonstrating the features.
+Steve Denys i fix the problem that's shown in this video. I can tell the guy in the video over looked the parameter adjustment ! I did as well at first and I had bad vibration as well. Once I set the right parameter for the weight of the camera & lens. It all went away I'm 90% happy with it.
+Ken Harris Well I think the price is pretty good compared to others and I would be using it with the Sony Rx10II, so that camera isn't that heavy. thx for the fast response
its not even close to balanced, you do want the camera to return to level or stay at level when you are balancing... (hard to put into words) but when you let go of the camera it will stay in the position you left it in. tilt it up 30 degrees and let go it should stay, pan it left and let go it should stay, lean the roll axis X degrees and it should stay were you leave it NOT returning to level. The footage shows what ALL gimbals look like when they are not balanced and I see this exact same INCORRECT way of balancing for many different brands of gimbal (the more powerful the motors the less obvious it is but still not good looking). Wish I could find some example footage from this gimbal its cheap and looks decent but think I will pass without any decent footage... also it doesn't seem to have a threaded hole on the bottom for a mini tripod or camera plate, trust me you want one that does!!!! its 10000x easier to balance when it stands on its own

Great job on the review. I'm a bit concerned with the wiggle the unit displays though.
Are there any option to mount this to a tripod?
no roll mode at all? also I saw some hectic vibrations when changing modes in this vid
hello thanks for your video. i have one problem with my feiyu, it bend to the left when powered on.. can you help?

Hey!! Nice review! Thanks!
Is there a way to keep the hdmi port accessible? To mount an external display or 4k recorder.
Thanks!

I love the host as well!
where can we buy this in the UK??
It is compatible with a regular video camera (Sony AX53)?
Thank you in advance
Very nice demo.
Amazing informative video. I don't know how it's got any dislikes
Thanks for the video! just wondering, i have a sony rx100iv and a6300, any idea if i would be able to use the rx100iv on it?
Do you recommend this gimbal? Is it perfectly suited for an a6000 lens kit or a 6d + 24-70 lens?
My gimball wont stop spinning around
help... idk how to fix it
Hey, I have a Canon 700D, what should I buy ? A feiyutech MG or an Osmo ? Thanks
Osmo had a build-in camera and it is not a gimbal for Canon 700D
+Jade Jr. I know, but my question is : should I buy a feiyutech mg for the 700D or an osmo, for the video quality ?
you cannot compare a DSLR and the OSMO. Anyway obviously Canon would win in any situation... But the MG holds up only 1070g so you will restricted to lighter lens.
Which lens did you have on the a7sii?
I'm sorry to say that in the bit of sample footage the performance of this gimbal looks awful.
Too bad....
whether the noisy sound gimbal
there have no much space/gap from camera hot shoe to the top...how possible to mount a Rode microphone....?
Mount the mic somewhere else on the rig. You have tons of space on top bars, there is no need to have it locked to the hotshoe.
How can I fixe the vibration issue, I think I did the calibration correctly, but when I turn it on, it strat vibrate like crazy !!
+SDK Prod. Yes I did
+Johnny-Welson Fleurme How did you fix the vibrating?
+Cherrard Cohen Make sure that the camera body is well tight it in the gimbal, on the side is well. Use the thing to tight the lens as well (sorry for my english)
Ok. I will try that when I get home. I don't want to return it. It is actually very good when it isn't vibrating. Thanks alot for the tip.
How to renitialize my gimbal please ? it's move himself
Just bought from Band H for 363 bucks. Use my g7 on it. See how it works for me?
what is the weight capacity on this?
I have this and it done the same thing to me !!!! I'm sending mines back, the problem that happen on this video at 9:39 and 10:14
Almost seems like a Saturday Night Live skit...😂😂
WTF has happened at 9:39 and 10:14?
Review is very god, feel free to be more ensured) Subscription.
+Arseny Ginali i said the same thing.
+Arseny Ginali then he looked to the side like - you think anyone noticed the shake lmaooo
I am the MG user. The reason when camera shake is he didn't tighten the screws on the gimbal mount.
that looked more like the max load is reached or the center of mass isn't optimally set, so the motors will start to shake like they do on any gimbal.
MAX LOAD as their website "Feiyutech" says is 1070g equivalent to 2.3pounds on the MG
Super good Review
Love the host!
I love the design. Unfortunately still out of my price range.
