2 supports and whatever third you want is pretty much all you need to get through this game. And it’s not even close. Trying to do quests without a support/healer is not a fun time. You can run support, tank, ranged. That’s another combo I do but imo range, support x2 is the way to go.

I agree on supports being the most important. I use Mickey, Hiro, and Mr.I. I can clear a few stages on Master despite the big gap on power (Im around 8500 and cleared 13k recommended). Tank soaks all dmage early until you get specials and buffs. Rest is just healing until enemy dies.
I’ve seen so many players focus on melee and ranged Guardians because they do big numbers but when it comes to which role gives you a bit of everything, support and tank is the way to go

Most Important is Ranged and its Zurg. Easy lol. God I love Zurg.
Zurg is in a league of his own. But do you play him with support guardians? I’m guessing you do.. even zurg needs support

Definitely Support Guardians running with Zurg is key my favorite team in this Game is Zurg Genie Scrooge or Zurg Genie Mickey
