We're GenX where boys climbed to the top of trees instead of being afraid of tree branches falling. We were really feral.
GenXer here too. I was/am a tomboy who climbed to the tops of trees better than some of my guy friends. Because I was a gymnast and acrobat so I had great uper body strength. 😂
I really miss those days. Fifty-three now and everything hurts. 😂
@@victoriawilliams2786 Never climbed trees, but my brother and his friends did and it only got scary when they got to the very tippy top.
TBF my neighbors is a GenX Karin has a grandkid and she's afraid of leaves so tossed them out and wrecked my composting attempt, hence my comment about fearing leaves and branches. We did our own screwed up stuff as kids.
@@victoriawilliams2786 Being feral is the one thing we have in common with boomers.
@@victoriawilliams2786 Can someone explain millenials and/or Gen Z that they're shy. I don't get it, did our Gen X generation spoil them. Too much social media has made them afraid of people?
@@vickysecretpinkonebayvicky1507 When we were growing up most of us didn't bother watching the news. With the internet, cable, dish etc. the younger generations are exposed to all the violence, unlike us. Not to mention the fear of being doxxed, trolls, and just hate filled people in general.
oooooh the "keep talkin" hit home.... to this day, those words strike fear in me
@@hollyshaw-ellemae
Hiya Holly-
Did you ever get the old "keep it up... Just keep it up"....?
THAT was the "warning" to shut the eff up 😂
I will forever love my generation ❤❤❤ we fkn Rock!!!!
Its okay now to actually say fuck. Nobody really fucking cares..😂
Exactly that's how we grew up and we still feel that way
As a gen x'er I approve of this message 😂😂
And "go ahead" really means try it and see what happens!
The R2D2 crack had me rolling. So accurate.
Chickem Pox "parties" was common. I was involved in one, got Chicken Pox, got my body to produce antibodies, then went back to school after it was over.
Yeah my mom did that too. All the neighbors took the kids.
When my son was young his friend got the chicken pox vaccine and ended up out of school for the entire year, because it gave him chickenpox that wouldn’t go away.
Yup, same thing with the measles. When I got the measles, mom called my aunt to bring the kids for a sleepover. My cousins got sick as well as my sister and brother.
Anyone remember the best bugs bunny ep that was like a opera with the words kill the rabbit.... Or the angry wife beating her husbend with a rolling pin

Elmer Fudd, March Of The Valkyrie
Kiww da wabbit, KIWW DA WABBIT!
Hilarious 😂
And that’s that about THAT!
Every time I see you I can’t stop laughing ! I’m 53… our cartoons are too violent to watch on TV so we have to dig them up on you tube like we’re trying to find the dark web ! lol. And our kids think they’re just stupid. 😢I’m sad but belly laughing !
We're genx we learned at a young age from Scooby Doo that all the worst scariest monsters in this world are human
This lady is SO funny. I share her videos with my brother and cousin. They laugh and laugh.
How about "I'll slap that frown right off of your face" 😂 .....and she did!!!
Remember trying NOT to cry as a kid?
Your bottom lip would stick way out and you'd sort of hyperventilate and it'd pop in and out of your mouth?😂
THAT would really get Dad's goat and then IT WAS ON.
There'd be no sitting down comfortably, for at least a good two or three days 😅
YES!!! I still look back at my at my best lessons to this day come from Bugs Bunny 😅😂
I grew up in the 90's and you just described word for word what my childhood was 💀😂
Me, my little brother and four cousins attended a famous "Chicken Pox party" at my grandma's house...it worked.
I wish.... SO hard... that I could love this more. ❤
I got a blister on my thumb from playing my Atari joystick too hard…more than once. 😂🤣😂🤣
@@melsy203
Are you trying to tell us that Atari really wasn't invented yet?😂
The plastic car seat covers that stuck to your @$$ an left the print on it too....
Except in the heat...when you were left in the car while your mother went shopping...it then became a slip and slide 😅
The stainless steel slide at the park... In the middle of August, on the sunniest day of the year... When it's 112 degrees.😂
@slicksnewonenow my brother went down one of those slides as a kid an got 74 stitches up his calve from a piece of the metal sticking up . Wicked !
Ah, yes, the "keep talkin", rings so true. It was so nice when people were intelligent enough to understand what you were implying, not just what you were saying.
"Keep Talkin' " is a serious phrase!
And a very close second was " Don't make me stop this car/ come back there!" And none of us was stupid enough to make either happen!!
@btetschner more times than I care to think about! I hated that phrase so much! The other one was, "You want something to cry about?!"
@@Maeglin7936 I remember hearing that one too!
I am curious what makes parents say things like...other than just being too lazy to play the role as a parent.
@@btetschner that or they felt that they didn't owe us any explanations for anything at all. Just do as we say and not as we do.
(((("WHERE GEN X AND WE WERE THE LAST GENERATION OF THE FERAL

😢
"Keep talking," actualy had me looking for mom, who's upstairs, asleep in bed. Those are words you do not wanna hear. you kids.
IOf you EVER hear ANYONE saying these words, regardless of reason. RUN, You do not stand your ground, you do not trot and you do not yolo.
You are about to die.
This is so true.
53 and I still don’t give a $#%&! Everyone around me knows it and has for a very long time😂. I always say, we may not have invented sarcasm but we sure as hell perfected it. It’s so fun to see others think we are joking😂.
Lessons learned from the original Optimus prime and so many others.
Ya well, I'm a Gen boomer. I walked 2 miles to school uphill in the snow both ways. And what's with the hair? Blue and green... Pick a color... Also my generation, we invented drinking out of a water hose.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! This video isn't just great, it's a blessing!
Who here remembers being threatened with bodily harm and/or Certain Death IF they scratched at their Chicken Pox?
Oh, I do... Believe me, I DO.😂
I do! And that stupid baking soda paste did not do anything to stop the itch.
Neither did the Calamine lotion. Sure, it felt good when it first came out of the bottle. But as soon as it dried, the itching got worse. Mom made me wear oven mitts to keep me from scratching.
@@sharonrinkiewicz3940 yes that too! My mom put socks taped to my little sister’s hands.
Im gen x and i genuinely dont give a fuck either you rockkk every word you said I can relate to I mean every I have been binge watching your videos you are so wonderful you and your family along with everyone reading this are in my prayers
❤Hot dang for Gen X🎉🎉🎉
It was Elmer Fudd as the Elf King who taught me the bare bones basics of how a business works. Who remembers that?
My mom made me sit in a chair with my cousin so I could catch chicken pox from her.
👏 👏 👏 truth ❤❤❤
My mom worked at a daycare when I were young, 5 or 6 young. One day a kid had chicken pox and she'd called us (sis) over to try and catch it. We didn't that time.
I always thought those weird squeaky beeping noises was R2 taken an Android dump😄😄😄
Hi Sherri, here's a couple more, "We're Gen X - our moms made us wear sweaters when they were cold! We're Gen X - we know why Bugs should not have taken that left turn at Albuquerque!
When you mom let you free in Blockbuster and you can out with Faces of Death & Eddie Murphys Delirious. She don’t give a F! It was a smooth 4hrs she didn’t have to fuck with you.
Sadly as a Gen X I do have injuries from the Nintendo power pad as a teen 😂
You have brought such joy to my life thank you
We're genex where we went all the good paying jobs to China...😂
Well said
Your awesome.
Everything you said Sherri true story 😂😂
Nothing but truth!!!!!!!
Bugs Bunny was a fuckin' shaman of our generation.
I still.watch Bugs Bunny!
Enough said.
I'm the border of gen x and millennial and majority of all of your videos sure seem true!!!!!! 😂😂😂 Is it funnier I kinda miss the craziness 🤪
My Mom's favorite saying "Do as I say. Not as I do." 😂
Don't forget that a whole lot of us had someone older rent "Faces of Death" and watched that gross shit. Proving to ourselves, and others, that we didn't fear death. 😂

I used to wonder why so many kids came to "visit" me when I was home with the chicken pox. Kids that I didn't really know...

We’re Gen x and to find out what time it was we dialed a number because the two swatches we wore didn’t help!
😂😂😂😂
To be fair, I DID play a lot of video games. Ask me how fast I can beat Legend of Zelda. But I still prefer platform games.
What does your husband have to say about this?
Generation X does not exist.
Please stop telling people about Generation X.
on demand was a stack of vhs tapes. yup def recall that in the coffee table. and the mix tape making and yeah i basically fried my atari 7800 playing galaga.
My mom once yelled at me to not look at her in that tone of voice.
Wow! 😢😂
I’ve gotten that, too lol
I still say that😂
