I tried after seeing this comment, and yeah I think they did make non-macro a lot more convenient to use! The only difference I could see now is that holding the non-macro key sometimes comes out a bit spaced apart

Thank you! So, because my layout is a tad weird, I use the macro to use the initial tornado (before the gust dive), but the actual skill to cancel the delay on gust dive. If you're already used to not using the macro, using the skill by itself is totally fine! If you do want to use macros, just keep in mind that you can't really do any animation cancels by macroing, so it's still beneficial to keep both macro and actual skill on your layout somewhere.
hi bread, how do you have your tri nodes set up? i only recently realised i dont have leaf boosted at all as i have 2x ishtar + final atk + knights and 1x spikes + wrath + unicorn. as they all have decently high levels (by my standards aka 10-20+) would it be better to get leaf on a separate node, and if yes what would it be good to add them with (guessing gust dive / lightning)? i think im barely using leaf cos of this. thank you! p.s. i noticed u barely use the charge + rising rush, are they generally not useful?
another map that works primarily without any spawn enhancers is abandoned area, all you have to do is tornado/dive and circle the map, its a great map for coin capping or just grinding without any spawn modifiers if you have none available after timing yourself so that you don't fall off the platforms the rotation becomes very chill
@@mercworstclass in the legion board, my Mercedes' skill cd reduction is 5% (lvl 246) and in your video i saw your "Whrath of Enlil" has 6 or 5 sec of cd while mine has 7 sec and only when i use a link skill it has a cd of 6 sec.
@@mercworstclass i tell you this because when i want to do the combos, those skill are still in cd :c ... so I conclude that you have more reduction of cd in some item ... finally i followed since 2017 and still can't do the combos :"
For some reason I'm using the keybind glide + double tornado macro but each time I do it, only one tornado goes off unless I'm really high enough. Is there something I may be doing that causes it to not go off immediately in succession? Thank you!! Great video btw. :)

My character never does double tornado even with the macro? Do I need a certain amount of attack speed or what exactly am I missing? I have glide blast bound but it seems like there is a massive delay between the two tornadoes, the second one doesnt even start the animation until I am near the ground or on it.
If you're trying the macro with only bowgun booster, then yeah the 2nd tornado is really slow. I highly recommend using at least one other source of attack speed when you train, it makes mobbing considerably more fluid
Do you recommend using sylvidia at all for training? I would assume its better at lower damage ranges to increase kills per minute, but when you can one shot with tornado to just ignore it?

Try flash jumping as fast as possible, then immediately tapping the macro. It should work with just bowgun booster. If it doesn't, then you might be flash jumping/using the macro too late. More attack speed buffs make the timing easier, though!
I think it does cost a fair bit, but still less than most people think. 6-8k stat is more than enough for most classes to have a fairly easy time getting to 210. If you're just going for the level 3 link skill, my recommendation would be to make your gear epic if you can (from bounty portal rewards, legion store, ebosses, etc), then use occult cubes to roll for ~9% stat on everything. It's the most affordable route to getting strong enough to train comfortably. In general, it takes me ~2b to make my characters above 7k (though I'm fortunate enough to be able to farm most of the clean gear myself, so my costs are a lot lower). Tl;dr - Honestly, kind of. But not as much as you might think. You really don't need anything over the top to get to 210!
My inner is +1 att speed, but I made sure that everything I did in this video was doable without it! To my surprise, some maps are actually a lot more consistent without it than with. For example, 0 att speed would be too fast to match the timing of the tree in Labyrinth Interior 5, while 1 AS would be near perfect! 0 att speed does make double tornadoing a bit easier than 1 AS, however (although it's already very easy at 1 AS :D)

Did MS change how the tornado works? As of May 2022 I'm not seeing any difference between holding down the ability vs mapping it to a macro.

after casting sylvidia, you can press sylvidia again to dash, rather than double tapping jump

As far as I'm aware, Sylvidia isn't worth using anywhere outside of that one map in Moonbridge
does the glide blast macro and leap tornado still work? because I cant do it, is it because I play on eu and its more laggy?
if you start the first tornado too low, it could be low attack speed. otherwise, I'm not sure but it should still work normally

Pets don't actually do anything (unless you mean auto-buff), the clones are one of our 5th job skills if those were what you're referring to
