He was a boy and now he is a man and we understand how much he studied and educated to be one of the best voices now. Congratulations he deserves it anyway.
The BIGGEST difference is from 2016 to 2017.
A lot of comments on voice improvements, but what I'm not seeing in the comments is how his timing/pacing got better, and the overall arrangement was perfected.
For example, if you watch 2016 he's rushing the silences or rests between some of the sentences, but for 2017 he's finally letting those spaces breathe.
Absolutely amazing ,the improvement is remarkable ,he has worked so hard for all the success he is now enjoying ! So well deserved ,he is phenomenally talented and a hard worker !
watching dimash grow and mature as a singer and human being is so heart warming.. his belief in himself is vital to his success. i listen to other critics and am abhorred at their comments. fortunately dimash has succeeded and is a part of our lives forever.

Ho visto questo video almeno 20 volte, in pochissimo tempo. La conclusione: Dimash è stato sempre grande, certamente l'evoluzione della perfezione vocale è evidente, ma lui è stato sempre eccezionale, un angelo orientale, anche per la sua bellezza tanto aristocratica. L'esibizione del 2019 è altamente emozionante e commovente: l'omaggio ai grandi interpreti che ci hanno lasciato, e aver inserito fra questi il giovane francese che aveva interpretato SOS, poco prima di morire a 24 anni...😢

The two most moving for me have been the London version for Dennis Ten obviously and the one in Moscow for having seen on the first picture our angel Gregory Lemarchal appear .... Там он пел как в последний раз. Да и само шоу было сделано на высочайшем уровне. Отличные съемки, отличная аранжировка и т.д. И нижние регистры там у Димаша звучат мощнее. Сколько же в это вложено труда. Я знала, что там нет ни одной случайной ноты и ни одного случайного жеста. Все рассчитано предельно точно. Годы тренировок. Годы. И я вижу гигантскую пропасть между выступлением 12-го года и выступлением 17-го в Китае. Это не просто пропасть, это бездна, через которую смог перешагнуть только он. Его упорство меня потрясает.

This was so interesting to see put together like this. I'd have chosen his last performance in Tashkent rather than this one in Moscow personally (sth about that day's performance, even compared to the the other performance that trip). In any case, the way he's improved his performance of the song, at so many levels (command over his range, voice, pitch, breath control, the confidence that came with it, his body language) no less by making the song completely his own, is so impressive. The moral of this particular story is that there is always room for progress and it's just astonishing.
