The Staves - Satisfied, live at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, Thurs 16th May 2024. The Staves at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. This was the band’s first return to the club, which they have played many times, in a number of years. The vibe was that it was special. I only intended to film 2 or 3 songs. However, I was in a unique position to the side of the stage with only the guitar tech behind me, the sound was brilliant and they were on such form. The banter between themselves and with the audience was also great. I just ended up filming 11 of the songs, but as usual I wasn’t watching the gig through the phone. It was at my chest, so I enjoyed the moment. I chose portrait this time as it framed them better because of where I was stood.
