There's already classiccounter and also classic offensive which ain't technically csgo, but 1.6 type of game, but in source engine. Ngl I really wish I can play those games. Would play that for a ton and actually have fun compared to cs2. Honestly even game like classic offensive would be sick to be on steam store and I would actually pay for it, but developers have problem with licensing the game cuz it has to be approved by valve and that will probably never happen.

Instead we got shit servers, same shit anticheat, even worse now I think, some shadows and particles, cool looking water, 40 fps on ancient and less maps than csgo. We only miss csgo because we got something worse, instead of something better as we expected
I mean it's not a surprise it's worse, it has graphics that make half of the player base basically unable to play CS2 cuz of poor PCs while the other half with good PCs won't like it cuz they'll always want more FPS which is unreal expectation from all modern games. So not a surprise CS2 was a flop on release and still is with most of the player base 😢

Funny i had the exact opposite experience with Deagle. I couldn't hit shit with it in CS:GO, in several months since CS2 i was doing pretty well with Deagle. It definitely felt different yes, in my case easier to use it. Maybe after many updates (they change stuff constantly, little tweaks here and there ) it's different again.
They removed them either because they're still working on new ones and SAS and Pheonix are placeholders for most maps or they did it so we have to buy for different agents
You should try 2016 CSGO next. Counter-Strike: Restored is a project that has old gun sounds, old maps (old cobble and inferno), pre-nerf guns and OG main menu.

valve's logic is weird "we finished game that we were working with for 11 years, and it's in it's best state it has ever been, we think we should release unfinished product that is unplayable and we will work with it for another 10 years"
this is an absolute strawman lmao, valve were never done with cs:go. the updates and major changes they wanted to make to the game reached a point where the extremely outdated source engine couldn’t manage them. cs2 is just an upgrade for cs:go, moving the same game to a new engine so valve can improve the game’s longevity and playability. yeah it’ll kind of suck for a couple of years starting out, but it’s well worth it for the possibilities it opens in the future.
@@tr00t yeah of course, source 1 is engine that is way older than me and limited valve's options, but you know, CS:GO was in solid position, it felt nice and finished but then cs2 came out, which gameplay wise is pretty nice, other than popular bugs that occur all the time, but my 2 main complaints are anticheat and optimalization, i have green trustfactor, pretty expenisve inventory, and high rank steam profile, and i still get whole lot of cheaters on all gamemodes, and optimalization is worst thing, i could play CSGO on highest settings, 16:9 res and still get 100 fps or more, on 4:3 low settings it was around 300-400fps, but in cs2 on 4:3 lowest settings i barely get 80fps with drops to 30fps, and 16:9... it's pretty much unplayable, and yeah actual worst thing is game crashing for no aparent reason, my game crashes even 3 times in one match. and on my personal experience, game is not it, premier rank doesn't feel rewarding at all, i ranked up from 3k to 11.5k in less than 2 weeks and i didn't even felt happy about it, but when i got g2 in csgo for first time i was screaming my lungs out. Also the thing for me is that this game doesn't feel as snappy and crisp as global offensive did, playing CSGO it felt like a real e-sport dedicated game, but playing CS2 i feel like i'm playing call of duty or smth like that so yeah i get your point, but what i said is my personal opinion
@@jaszkowaenduroteam9013 i think you’re looking at go with rose tinted glasses. i had about 800 hours in go and now about 250 in cs2. csgo definitely had some slight advantages, but as far as your complaints on anticheat and optimisation - anticheat was also absolute ass in go. people were constantly complaining about cheaters in every game, and hoped s2 would bring a new, powerful anticheat, which it didn’t until more recently as it’s gotten better. the game is arguably *more* optimised than csgo due to the way it uses it’s gpu culling features- rendering a lot less of the map than would be rendered in csgo, or any source 1 game, due to how the engine rendered environments. the reason it runs slower is the higher polycounts for models and geometry, as well as upgraded lighting and pbr materials- all of these use up a lot of gpu power for the moment, but the game manages to look great and run above 60fps on a lot of less than average devices, which is an impressive feat for something of that visual quality. i agree that valve fucking sucks atm and seems to be doing the least amount of work possible, but cs2 isnt abandoned, u just gotta trust the process and not contribute to all the clickbait skeptic youtubers who say they “hate cs2” because it garners more views and comments due to debates and discussions like these. your opinions are valid, but the game is in nowhere near as bad of a state as a lot of people online claim. the cs community has always been way too reluctant to minor changes, and when you’re moving a game from one engine to a completely brand new, modernised version, that takes a lot of time and effort- especially to replicate it as closely as valve has with cs2.
