Hii guneesh, i think you are already here XD. But answering your question, it's usually they asking which subjects do you wana talk about. Interviews can go beyond the syllabus of leee

after taking admissions you joined at semester 3 or 5? And is there any place for leaving the degree after completion of btech or is doing masters compulsory?
3rd semester. You have to repeat second year. Nope it's either both or none. Only in some special cases, btech is given alone

is it necessary to have a btech major in cse/ece ? If I have mechanical or electrical as my major , can I appear for LEEE? Also can I appear for both or only one(ece or cse)?

You can take admission in your related branch only. So if you have mechanical, then you can't take leee. For electrical, You may be eligible for ECD[please check with academics office]
My 1st sem result is 7.5 cgpv so can I apply or not.
As per the last year guidelines. There are no cgpa requirements. This may change for next year. Keep checking the website for leee 2023.

No, but can be asked in interview. In written exam nothing is asked beyond the specified syllabus on leee webpage
