As much as I love Metaphys and it's concept. it bricks A LOT. I usually play Tyrant and Decoy at 2 copies since decoy is a hard OPT and Tyrant's effect isn't as important as Nepthys' or Deadalus' I'd really put the deck on pause until we get the release of Crossout Designator which will be an automatic 3 of in the deck, but honestly I really hope this deck gets the support it needs
Hey Kiratwig. I love your channel and your content. I hope you don't take any offense but rather take what I have to say as constructive criticism. I think your build of this deck has some inherent flaws. It relies heavily on the normal summon and the deck itself carries many bricks. I think you could adjust the monster lineup slightly and add more monsters who are more easily placed onto the board via normal summon. Cards like lightray grepher are incredible for this deck. And it's a good normal summon monster. With all the banishing the deck does a card like giant rex is usually a free body on board with no cost. Even if ragnarok banishes it with its own effect giant rex will summon itself making for easy rank 4 fodder. Another good main deck tech choice would be a new card out of chaos impact called D.D. patrol plane I believe it's a dark machine level 3 monster who during the end phase when banished that turn he can banish any monster from the hand field or grave to summon himself from the banished zone. He can jumpstart alot of plays for you and is a dark target if you wanted to play a small chaos engine. Storm dragons return out of rising rampage is another good trap for this deck. And lastly why no metaphys horus in the extra deck. It's stupidly easy to make with ragnarok and a decoy dragon. And it's got a snatch steal like effect with a negation on top of it. Then you can overlay the stolen monster and the horus to make a vampire Sheridan then detach material to send a card on field to grave. Its a sick play that would generate lots of advantage and opponent would never see coming. Another spicy tech is cyber valley its a level 1 light machine has some cool draw power and effects to help unbrick bad hands. Anyway I hope you're not offended by my comment. I think you make quality content and would like you to think outside the box a bit more is all.

theres alot of other useful cards you forgot to mention like soul absorption, banisher of the light, banisher of the radiance, cross breed.theres even some xyz monsters that can be used too. since tyrant dragon and nephthys are both level 8, he couldve put in number 38: hope harbinger dragon titanic galaxy.also a dark hole or raigeki would be good too, depending on play style. also theres two link monsters he couldve easily put in like topologic trisbaena and topologic zeroboros. the deck build kiratwig has doesnt even look like it would last long in a match. his deck builds are usually really good, but this one looks like it didnt have much effort put into it. also the trap card zero force is a good card for this deck in certain cases
What would be some good cards to use for a chaos engine? I'm a relatively new metaphys player, as it is my first deck I've built since returning to the game. Looking to make my current build more consistent with more options for plays
@@Apocaman98 hey I would say chaos dragon levianeer is a good chaos target. Also thunder dragon duo isn't bad either if you could fit a small thunder dragon engine in the deck.
@@Nickscruiser While Levianeer is good, I think Duo is better for recursion, since there's a lot of destruction negation running around in the meta
I tried using Metaphys in September last year but it confused a whole lot with all the banishing & shuffling so I kept going back & forth between playing or quitting
I went back to them recently & it's alot easier now I know how they work properly 🙂
I feel like they took a lot to practice but once you get the timing right it can really force your opponent to enter the shadow realm
