As somebody who has experienced a UFO up-close and actively seeks out information and news and subject-group updates about the subject, I must say that I have never gotten the feeling that I had wasted my time in the search, until now.
I recall an incident that happened on our property, when I was very little. My dad and grandfather were pointing and animatedly discussing something they could see in the distance. My elder sister and I were standing on the verandah, my parents were watching something on the road that ran through the paddock in front of the house. I could hear some fear and concern in their voices as they talked between themselves. My sister and I focussed on what they were looking at. A small, but very shiny object was moving towards us along the road. I kept asking what it was. It got closer, and closer, and it was two triangles on their apexes. The top one was small, the bottom one was longer and larger, like a head and torso, but no arms or legs. The sun made the metal flash. It was following the road, the apex floating just above the surface. It moved past the gate and a collective sigh of relief went up. But then it turned back and swept in the gateway to the house. My mother screamed at us to go to the bedroom. When I woke I still remembered, but no one else knew what I was talking about. I can remember being outside and much closer to the object, and I remember all the animals were not worried by it. I think it was the fear of others that created chaos, not the object!
