Mr Wenham was my teacher at western park in 1986. he also was great at playing the guitar and we used to sing together in the play ground at dinner time. He was the best teacher I ever had and taught me a lot. I've always wonder what happen to him after he left western parks. So glad he's doing something that he loves. And his work is wonderful. A really lovely man with many talents.

As a woodturner I have always admired wood carvers, Martin takes carving to another level. So inspiring, I would love to have his 'eye' , his composition of lettering is so beautiful.

I have just taken up wood carving and am doing some lettering. I think that I need a lifetime to achieve such excellence.

Thinking about the design and imagining the visual is knowing, not thinking ahead could or will lead to hindsight or regret. The more experience I gain I use more time to plan, until you can give yourself the green light.... patience will be your best asset

Contemplative artists are such goofballs. And I mean that affectionately and respectfully. I’m one… just not nearly so well-accomplished

I imagine that no one (or very few people) would like to see an exbition where the sculptures paintings , planks beautifully covered with letters etc kept moving. Why do the cameramen got this habit to present the works of art moving nowadays? Why do we have to see someone talking? Can't we see the works of art while they speak ?
