didnt even know this band back then. i was 16 in 2008. wouldve went crazy for this band. being from maryland, always saddens me to see or hear about historic dc shows. like when heavyheavylowlow performed at the rock n roll hotel in dc
geezum crow. that would have been an amazing show. that drummer is very good with that simple set. great energy, glad this is uploaded, short as it is, band too.... here n gone. like a comet
there should be a new genre called "kinsella-esque" because the spirit of their music lives on in so many different bands. as for boy problems, i can't find the words to explain how good i feel about this music. beautiful. wish i could be around to see it.
wonder what Vaguedan is doing right now and if he ever wondered that 13 years in the future i'd be replying to his niche comment on a niche video about a niche band
At the time I was in Maneuvers from Burlington, VT. I'm now in a band called 10K Volt Ghost (10kvoltghost.tumblr.com) and incidentally we're playing with Algernon Cadallwader in Burlington, VT on May 24th.
low quality live recordings of bands uploaded to early youtube is my happy place
They were fantastic, my band played this show along with Algernon Cadwallader. Amazing night.
what''s your band?
Whats yo band !
Can't believe it's been a decade. Saw this Algernon/Boy Problems tour in DC. Monument also played.
