Love the first twinset it suited your complexion. You didnt look washed out. The denim skirt was absolutely perfect, it really suits you. And loved the navy trousers too.
I ❤ watching your try on videos, even though I’m a completely different size, height and shape to you. I hate clothes shopping and find it really stressful and overwhelming. So seeing someone else’s clothes and where they’re from helps me to know exactly what to order/look for in the shops. I also ❤ how you don’t just try on the items, you give ideas of what you’d wear with things, ie: some tan sandals, a little tan bag and some sunglasses! I really struggle with getting dressed - not the actual putting on of clothes- but knowing what to put with what, how to put outfits together etc, so your little style tips are fantastic.
Loved the navy twin set and the navy trousers, that little pull in bit at the back is genius! Thanks for cheering me up everytime I watch yo. Xxx

I love the navy, I think navy is such a good colour, not as harsh as black, and looks lovely with white and cream. The linen trousers in the 18, especially for the summer when you want something a bit flowy.

When I grew up in the 50’s, a twin set, was the same color, and material. I’m too old for the clothes in the try on haul, but you’re so delightful to watch, I don’t care.

Regarding the twin set. When I left school many years ago, I spent almost half my weeks wsges on a very fine pale grey wool twin set. This was the sixties, and did I look cool!!!

18 in the beige linen trousers & a pin tuck either side of the central belt loops to cinch the waist in. Love the navy combo. Definitely send back the t-shirts & beige jumper/cardigan x

This last year, M&S has been getting better and better. Three years ago, I had completely given up on them for upmarket smart outfits.

Talking about ripping something and not being able to send it back, reminded me of two fitting room incidents I had 😂 One was in H&M ... I tried on a maxi dress that had a side zip....only i didn't know it had a side zip when I put it on. I was determined to get it on, which i eventually did..though it was a really hot day and it nearly killed me. It was taking it off that was the problem. I struggled and struggled and ended up with nothing left to give. I sat on the floor and cried.... not least because i think I'd dislocated a shoulder. I had no one with me to help. I thought " i can't even keep it on, pay for it and leave wearing it, because now i was stuck 3/4 in in and a 1/4 out.....just like the time i lost my house key and got stuck half in the bathroom window (that's a whole other story) I had to just lay on the floor, cool down, calm down and then give it all I'd got. I was so bloody annoyed when i found it had a side zip 😬🤣 The other story happened 30 years earlier....luckily i was young.... We had a new trendy clothes shop in town and the fitting room doors were small saloon doors ( it was the 80's no one gave a sh*t about your privacy then 😂) I was trying on a pair of jeans... I got one leg in, lost my balance and crashed through the saloon doors into the shop. Well hello there! Don't mind me. 😳😬 😂

Omg that's so funny!! 😂😂😂 I haven't had any personally however I have had to help a lady who was stuck in a blouse before. I heard excuse me can someone help me please. So I went out and did lol. Another time though this was mortifying. Me and my friend went to town and we went into Ann summers. Bought a few bras but we both tried them on first. Any way we finished and got to the till. Near the tills was a rack of stuff to be put on the shop floor. It had a bra my friend wanted in her size. She got it and said I'm gonna run back to try it on as they can be hit and miss. So I payed at the till and waited. I got a call saying rose can you bring the smaller size please. So I did and walked to the changing room she had been in before. Well in Ann summers they have peekaboo holes in the doors so husbands can get a cheeky peek of their wives. I walked up giggling knocked on the door and said peekaboo I see you sexy lady. I didn't actually look through the whole. Then I was met with my friend laughing her head off in the other changing room. I'd assumed she was in sane cubicle like an idiot and there was another woman in there. She looked mortified I had to assure her I hadn't looked and was joking with a friend 😂🙈

Years ago, I went to a new upscale boutique. I Tried on a number of outfits but after a while became discouraged, put on my 2 piece outfit, my long raincoat ,and went to my car. After adjusting myself, I felt something wasn’t right. I was checking myself out, when I realized I had left my skirt in the dressing room. Those were the days when we wore slips, so I didn’t feel any cool air. I was young and mortified. I sat in my car for awhile, then decided I could not go back into this snooty place and ask for my skirt. Of course nowadays, I would have made a different decision. It was one of my favorite outfits and looked great on me. 😱😂

The beige ones are perfect in 16 ,if it is 100% linen it should stretch ,similar to denim ,as you wear it and then shrink back when you wash it ..if it is a mixture ,I don't think there should be any stretching or shrinking

Yes I remember them being in I was a teen when they had their appearance and my mum bought me one to wear for a family get together lol ❤️ as they say it all comes back around. Yes they are lovely aren't they xxx
Lovely haul.. The mushroom jumper was slightly darker and I didn’t think the jumper washed you out at all.. Marino wool is great to bc it keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter 🥰🥰

Ive got those Navy trousers in Cream, Brown and Khaki they just look and feel so classy
Love the haul! Navy twin set is the best. The linen trousers in 18 are the best. Linen does stretch and gets baggy sometimes. The16 would work but you would probably feel uncomfortable 🙂♥️
I’m 61, my Mum rocked a twin set with cigarette pants as her everyday uniform. She was incredibly stylish. Twin sets were sold as a set. Same material and usual a light knit - vest and cardigan. She wouldn’t have been caught dead in a pair of jeans! I like your take on it with slight different fabrics. The beige didn’t wash you out at all - I thought they looked fab on you!
Linen tends to stretch in my experience Rosie. Love the haul I’m off to get the trousers!! ❤

Loved everything I thought you looked good in the twinset , loved the navy but the beige was so classy I think it was because of the slight contrast in colour and the buttons on the cardi seemed to match the jumper , I think the size 16 linen trousers were perfect x

So much fun. Ways. Linen does give a bit during wear then goes back on washing, but I’d go with the 18 and wear a belt to take up the waist gap.

I would send the beige back ..linen will tighten up when you wash it,but then gets baggy again when you wear it….i would probably keep the 18 and with that belt on a pond a nice tee on they would look fabulous…….Donna in Toronto

Some lovely pieces. Really liked the denim skirt, the navy and beige trousers and navy two piece. I would keep the size 18 in the trousers. I often shop in M&S for jeans, shoes and tops, it is one of my favourite shops ❤ 20:41

I’d have the same issue with the linen trousers. I’m better in flat front trousers with no side pockets. Yes linen stretches when you’re wearing them but it goes back when you wash them. Love the navy twin set on you❤
Navy twin set fab, size 18 in the beige trousers look much better, linen does stretch a little it very much depends on it being 100% or not.
I love M&S because they are one of the few that do different lengths.

Ahh congratulations on baby hun ❤️💕🌸 I would say go with your fave styles hun and if you don't feel comfortable in them then don't be too hard on yourself. Takes so long to feel back to yourself after baby. I only feel I'm going back last couple of weeks as I'm only just stopping breastfeeding Albert. He's two 🤣 but my hormones are crazy and my shape has changed a bit as not storing fats for my milk supply it's crazy. Anyway hun have a wonderful weekend and always here to chat xxx
