Liz sings the best in the group ive.Besides, Yujin also did very well.I feel like they are making progress in improving their singing.They're getting better and better at singing but they probably would have continued to sing as well if they didn't do the dancing.Their voices are good but not enough to be able to sing 100% of the song live.I think they should make the dance moves as light and simple as possible to ensure the authenticity of the vocals.

I think, after watching this a billion times, they were a bit nervous in the beginning and it showed in their voices a little. They soon got going and hit those notes so well. Its nice to hear them sing like this.

They seems to be singing live, they are not a strong vocal group, you can note that in the encore. In order to be able to sing they stoped to move and concentrated in singing, they did great, I would say they slayed it because they actually singed the whole song by themselves, an acomplishment I doubt most groups of this last generetion can.
0:45 the soloists have weak voices, but together they are very good singers... they need more practice and I think they will never need autotune again. They have potential

What you must consider is the pitch of this song is too high, and impossible for a normal person to sing comfortably. I am a soprano in my choir, but still have trouble with this. I don't think it was a good choice by the producers. They sing very well for a song this high pitched.
I am studying operatic singing at the conservatory and i am a lirico-leggero soprano (i also studied pop and jazz during high school). Even if i love this song and sing it almost daily even though i shouldn't (since my teacher would kill me if she knew) it is very straining for some reasons: 1) all the chorus that gets repeated rotates around the 5th octave (so that is WHO i am, the who is G5/SOL5, usually sopranos in pop have the cambio di registro in A5/LA5, Bb/Sib5 or even B5/Si5 so G/Sol can be uncomfortable to sing). Also the chorus spans from E4/Mi4 to G5/Sol5 aka 1 octave and a (minor) third... It's not that "high" but you kinda have to jump all over the place lol 2) the "that's my" part that come before the chorus... is high. G6/Sol6 (that's) and Gb6/Solb6 (my). High. Very much so. 3) The first part sung by Wonyoung reaches E3 in the "mhmhmh". WHICH IS LOW. If we count only the "난 나의 길로" it's still pretty low being a Gb3/Solb3 (길로). 4) Yujin's high note is not that high compared to the "that's my" being an E4/Mi4 part BUT it is BELTED and with belting you have to have a good sostegno or your voice is going to be shaky or, worse, break. 5) The song as a WHOLE as the estensione of 3 octaves and a minor 3rd (if we count the mhmhmh part, or of you don't want to count it it's still 3 full octaves). TLDR/Final Thoughts: The song is difficult and can be even more complex to sing depending on different factors (such as singer's estensione, if you sing it solo or w someone else, technique etcetc). IMHO the girls have done a great job this comeback. Even without Rei. In most stages you could definitely hear their voices loud and clear, with (mostly) precision in intonation. They were also very much stable. Not all the girls are on the same level singing. For example Gaeul can't be compared to Liz or Yujin. But she's a rapper and a dancer so singing shouldn't what we look for the most imho. In this stage (was it the first I Am win?) the girls were clearly hesitant to sing (especially wonnie and leeseo cuz if all the hate they got) but i still think they did a great job! All this to say i agree with the original commenter. ps: sorry for the long comment but i really needed to get this out hahaha

Do some of them have to work on their vocals? Yes, but honestly we all do :/ Even world renowned opera singers still went to their teachers to get their voice checked up once in a while! I have a degree in voice and am a voice teacher. I don't understand why they don't just pitch their songs a couple keys lower. It would change nothing about the song and they would sound so much more comfortable/stronger singing it. It has nothing to do with training - it's where it sits in the voice. If you have a lower register, this is high to be belting...like, they can hit the notes of course, but not always with full voice.

you know ik fans hate it when you compare groups but like I'm just so proud of leeso having the confidence to sing even with her voice cracking as compared to a sakura in lsfm (she's even said that she'd prefer getting less lines because she's not great at singing) but I can't help but say its literally her job, she could do more intensive vocal training to at least sound in tune live even if her voice cracks but girl just doesn't try

Sorry, I'm not a hater, but really their voices sounded very forced and somewhat off-key, I felt like I was watching a recital of some elementary school girls. I'm just being honest
i'm actually very proud of them for taking the criticism they got for their vocals and improving. do they sound great? not really, no. but they can sing their honestly overly challenging song without too many issues and sound decent and that's good!
The ones pulling off the vocals in this group are Liz and Yujin.. Mostly Liz but at least Yujin is still a decent singer and is hitting some of the high notes..
