Do I really need to tell you the description of how this team is? Three Shy Guys...really?
Peach is one of the only two playmaker captains in Mario Strikers Charged. Playmakers in MSC are often consider not worth your time to try out because of only one character that outshines them being the best sidekick in the game Boo. Boo has everything that put every playmaker captain to shame. Amazing unique deke, ability to self pass/ self shot, and downright being very easy and ready to use when you have the game. Name any MSC TH-camr that doesn't run at least one Boo on their team? But we are not talking about Boo (yet) we are here about Peach...Peach out of all the Playmakers is consider one of the worst out of them yes even worst than Toad, but not only that out of all the characters in game. Why is that well let us see.
Deke
Peach's Deke is nothing special out of the playmakers, but the thing it's the worst one of all of them. the first negative is that this deke has a lot of end lag than it really needs being the slowest when the move ends come to Diddy Kong's almost to no lag in his deke and Toad's average end lag. You have no time to react when this move end leaving to only one option passing the ball and if your opponent knows where you are passing the ball you're going to have a bad time making this deke nearly useless.
Captains Ability
Peach's ability is Freeze Frame which all objects freeze, and a large empty picture appears on the field surrounding Peach, which traps any player caught in it. Players who are hit will be stuck under the picture. If the ball happens to be in hit by this move, it is simply robbed of all momentum, allowing Peach to gain control of it. After the move is used, other players who were not hit can run safely above it. It wears off after about five seconds. This ability an trap almost every item in the game except Chain Chomps, Star, and Most Captains Abilities (i forgot which one). Now this doesn't seem to bad on paper but in reality it's pretty lackluster. Compare to Diddy Kong's Red Card which yes doesn't removes items on the play but it causes characters to be removed from play for 15 seconds of the match. YES YOU HEARD ME 15 SECONDS, 10 more seconds than Peach's Freeze Frame making it the worst one out of the two. Not only that this Ability has also suffers from end lag, you see when Peach executes the move she jumps in the air doesn't seem bad but what if I told you that this takes a whole 12-13 frames for Peach to start moving again meaning if anyone is close to Peach not caught in her Ability has a chance of hitting her before see lands.
My best way of dealing with Peach when having the ability is always have someone for just in case she preforms it that way you can punish her while she is in end lag.
Don't get cocky...just because she has flaws doesn't mean she not viable. A skilled Peach player know their flaws and always knows how to use them in her advantage. It's just Peach is not really common character in MSC. Being outclassed by every character in the game and being on par with Bowser Jr. And if you know how to deal with her she pretty much a pushover...
