From her POV, Daruma seems to serve as a plot device from action movies or game or something. Arrives to give the main characters a vehicle for the mission, given some basic backstories in an attempt to make the audience care for him before he was rid off in a jumpscare-esque effect to give the impression that the protagonist is still in danger.
Daruma bribes his way out of prison to come save them in a helicopter. That was so great. I have to express my gratitude for this series, it must have taken a lot of hard work.

Dude I literally never comment on anything on TH-cam but I feel the need to express how impressive this whole thing was. You have basically directed a slice of life anime out of this and put it together in such a way that you get a much more emotional connection to than watching one off clips. I am seriously feeling the same bittersweet feeling that I feel when a series I like is coming to an end watching this. It sounds so sappy writing this out but you haven't just merely translated clips but created an actual emotional journey with how well everything has been edited. You've created something unique here, thank you for all of the effort that was put into this.

This is genuinely the best series I've ever watched on TH-cam.
Can't believe I had to stop myself from crying over a fucking GTA series lmao.
And that ending was so perfect, you expect absolute Armageddon as the server shuts down but it turns out to be a fun roller coaster ride between former rival gangs and the police force.
And then that emotional celebration at the end, seeing Uruha just go and sit at her good old bench nearly broke me into tears lol, never knew a GTA series could get so much emotion out of me.
I don't know if you've already got something in the works or not but I'd love to see another series for GTA VCR2, I don't think I can watch anyone elses translations of it lmao I'm too used to this style now.

Edit: Also Mimitaya=MVP. She was basically the main character of the finale, felt like I went a whole journey with her.
Wow, that hands down the best vtuber translation video I have ever seen. I've been binge watching the entire series and the last episode really delivered. That Uruha ending almost got me, the helicopter chase was also insane all throughout. Leaving a comment here so that it helps the algorithm because wow this series really deserves way more.

I do agree that if they haven't shouted when they try to crash the helicopter, the police might have end it faster. It was still fun and a really close one for mimi. She was so cool and being alert. Awesome series, its basically a 26 episode season if you break down the time. Your editing and translations are the best. Very nice touch adding "Dawn and Fireflys" at the end as a call back to the previous episode, it really tied the whole thing together. i never thought i would commit to 8+ hour of clips but im sure glad i did. it was so immersive and fun and i found myself thinking about it when i wasn't watching. i could feel the same loss of it being over at the end. what a precious memory!

I was really rooting for the criminal team-up. Holy moly was that a cool plan; it all went off so well for a while there too lol. Really felt like an 'end of season' episode of a cop show: so many crazy things happening at once, so much chaos over the coms. You did such an incredible job putting together all of these clips. Thanks for the hard work!

I can't even imagine how much time it took for you to dig through all the perspectives and then constructive a narrative throughout them. Good work my man. For the Sasatikk kidnapping event I only saw how Haseshin and Kamito came close to rescuing him in their heli before Haseshin pressed the wrong button and they both plummeted to their death. So it was nice to see the whole story around it. Though I certainly didn't regret watching Kamito's perspective. His last day was epic as well with him fighting off RPR's gang attack on the police station.
These 2 weeks I have been watching Nakamura Yuuichi the voice actor playing Stogura GTA and that's also super entertaining in a different way from VCR GTA. Since it's a roleplaying server he roleplays as a grownup Nes from Earthbound. But he got tricked by the Anbrella gang and gains a massive debt that increases with each day. So to escape from them he disguises himself as Gundam Mk2 saying the iconic Zeta Gundam line "You will see the tears of time". But he soon he finds out that none of the girls playing on the server knows about Zeta Gundam. Worse one only saw Destiny gundam. He also takes on different disguises like Gray Fox from MGS, Bennett from Commando, Maverick from Top Gun and the Dom from gundam. But his most famous disguise is Muska from Laputa, since that's the girls on the server actually recognizes. This disguise is so succcesful that nobody on the server knows his real identity anymore, which leads to Muska becoming his real identity.
The best moments from him is when he finds friends where he can talk about gundam, 80's action movies and 3 kingdoms and the generation gap he expereriences whenever he talks to the girls.

That guy with the cool voice that said his favorite gundam show is G Gundam(I also think it is top tier). And the other chaos that ensued and then Nakamura running away from it while pinning all the blame on Frieza.
sadly i dont think there is many clipper doing stogura, i think its gonna be pretty fun to clip too since there are many kind of ppl there
@@Karoshi000Well, it is forbidden to clip from Nakamura's channel. I am just recommending his channel for people that understand japanese for an interesting POV in stogura since it's super interesting. When people clip him it's usually from someone else POV. But yeah there are some real interesting characters like Macdonald, Cap and that superhero that can fly.

The best thing about it was that for people who were able to catch VCRGTA live in some capacity, that sense of loss that the streamers had were also what we had as viewers as well. Definitely wanted to see more VCR GTA, and as it looks like the this collaboration will come back in the future, this is a nice summation of some of the fun that was had hear. That you could probably do another 9 hours on a different set of main characters and still have it compelling as what you did tells you just how good the event was.
