I am always amazed by how excited people become during road construction. Is it really that hard to understand that the disruption will only be temporary? CHEC has been building roads around the world for years. They have successfully completed a number or projects in Jamaica. People really need to calm down and let the process run its course.
Listen to the people??? CHEC has built the roads on the other side of St. Thomas. They are now building the roads on this side of St. Thomas. The road will be built properly whether people talk or not. People need to calm down and let CHEC do their work. This kind of work takes time.

Politicians only react to bad publicity, and your work is getting positive reactions from the powers that be for ALL road users in St Thomas.
@@mikejohnson3601 For this project, I am not seeing any difference between work done by CHEC or done by local contractors. The local contractor "boogeyman" argument is getting stale. Move on. The country will be much safer for you and everyone when locals have opportunities to grow and succeed like everyone else.

These roads have been bad since I was a child. This is the first attempt to fix them that I have ever seen.
But two vehicles can hardly pass each other 😂

Let us be reminded that those roads were constructed many decades ago. They would need major repairs in the 21st century.
