    Finally a review from someone who has spent some time with the car. I've had the same Rage Rover at home for 2 months in Autobiography configuration. I have 5500 km on it. Incredibly specific car. I had the penultimate version of the Mercedes S before this car and the comfort is far superior. Great seats and wonderful smell of leather in the interior. Unfortunately technically as mentioned in the review it is weaker. Confused infotainment, it froze several times and only turning off the engine and locking the car helped. Completely unnecessary I got the screens for the back seats. They are large, unsightly and my son has banged his head on their sharp edges several times. And if you think you can play, for example, a movie recorded on a flash drive on them, there you are wrong. They only work through a connected phone via hdmi cable. I absolutely don't get it! One last thing, due to the comfortable seats in the back a completely small rear luggage compartment. If I may recommend avoid the infotainment in the rear seats and the comfort seat in the back. Completely impractical and unnecessarily expensive.
    As for rear seat space, another disappointment. When compared to the last GLE model where I can comfortably put my leg over. But I understand JLR also wants to sell an extended version of the range rover.
    But otherwise the car is GREAT.
    Thank you

      Range Rover without long wheel base is like an almost perfect paint but missing something. Got the SWB and always struggled with rear space cause when front seat in their comfort position, rear passenger will never get comfortable. Or I have to move my seat forward a bit for rear passenger! It’s nice to have the comfort seat option cause they are really comfortable as long as you’re in LWB model. It does take some trunk space compared to normal seats. Get the long wheel base will fixed every problems you have in the swb lol.

      @lukasnehnevajsa7640 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that's the only solution. Just hard to do when you already have a short version in your garage :)
      Unfortunately, the whole JLR concern has historically been bad at working with space. I had the same problem with the XJR. Huge car and minimal space in the back and trunk.

    That's a quality review. Most channels with 1 hour usage and maybe not even that much are promoting the cars as another product in the supermarket. They can't event talk about negative things because they didn't use the cars. That's what I noticed when I watched the video, ne negative things no matter how smaller they are.
    I'll definitely subscribe to the channel. It's clearly a quality one. 👍

    As an owner of a 2023 RR, and 2023 RRS, i absolutely love my fullsize with the 3.0 I6. This is coming from soneone who owned a 21 Lexus LX570 Sport. I have 15k miles on my RR and have loved every mile i have put on it.
    Issues i have had are low coolant light that has come on twice, and screws i have been picking up on my optional 23" tires. Also, the rear armrest latch doesn't work for which i have already received a letter from LR USA. Other than that extremely long OCIs which i am not a fan of...

I have had Porsche Taycan, Panamera, Audi A8, Cayenne, VW Touareg, Audi Q8 and Q7 and most of them had issues ranging from blown up engines to electronic bugs. The issue is that they have so much software, motors and electronics that something is bound to go wrong. This being said, our 100,000 KM Audi RS7 has been flawless so far.

    Great review. I also live in Switzerland, and I have never driven a large car like that. Since I'm thinking to buy it, can you give me a feedback about the dimensions, especially the width?
    I have some concerns that it might be too large to drive on some roads and it requires constants attention to not hit other upcoming cars. But I see so many range rovers around which give me confidence that its not a big deal in terms of dimensions.
    Also, how about underground parking, any difficulty to park and to drive inside of them?
    Thanks

    • @morten_hannesbo
      @morten_hannesbo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, don't worry about the size when driving on all but the very narrow mountain roads. It really only becomes a problem in tight parking spaces, but for that you have the 360° cameras and accurate parking sensors. But if you have to park in a tight spot everyday you may want something different. Consider this: the size of the Range Rover is similar to that of a VW Bus / Transporter, so thousands of drivers manage this size of car every day in towns. What you may experience is that the alloys will get a knock or a scratch at times, but that is repairable.

I think the big RR are pure luxury and have a class look about them, I find the BMW front grills have just become ridiculous in size and shape and the Audi looks a bit boring. Like most modern cars running off computers I think you will always have some glitches and expect updates a bit like modern mobiles, even Tesla that have the best software system still need updates or added features, like I said modern cars are run by computers now and companies find out people would like a certain feature and then the company finds a way to do so and sends out updates.
    The only issue with Range Rovers is I would never ever buy a diesel now with all the def/ egr issues esp for the milage I do and probably find a lot of owners also doing short journeys, but saying that its probably just modern diesel thing with all DPF to satisfy the environmentalist
