This wouldve helped me alot when I entered my first online tournament, I missed two games because I wasn't to sure where to go😅 Great explanations for all the new online players

I'm really happy to finally see a video that explains this really well, 1 year ago when I decided to start Pokémon tournaments (online/offline) I really had a hard time understanding how it works the same for rek9. Now it's better and I've met other players, but thank you for making this video for the next players who will be in my situation :)

This video is amazing, thanks so much for explaining it all 😊 I only got into Pokemon a few weeks ago and now I feel like trying myself and my decks out in tournaments. Do you have to have the Limitless platform and Live on the same machine? (eg., the same computer), or can you just play Live on your phone/tablet whilst looking at Limitless on a computer?
No you can use them on different devices! It’s super flexible :) hope you’re having fun!

This was helpful! Two questions though:
1: Are there entry fees or are these free tournaments? Or does it depend?
2: If you lose a game due to a technical difficulty (we all know how buggy PTCGL can be...), is there any fixing that situation or it's just like... "Oops, oh well!"?
Usually they are free but I’d always double check in the rules :)
And again it depends on the tournament organisers rules for disconnects, sadly usually it’s a game loss :(
does playing tcg live tournaments give u championship points or qualify you for anything official or regional? or are the TCG Live tounramnets just for fun?
Just for fun! Sadly I don’t think it would be possible for any championship points to be awarded for anything played online due to the many complications that it would provide. There were some interesting events run on ptcglive during the pandemic, which DID award irl prizing so it’s not impossible to happen again but it’s unlikely for CP

Hello, I just have a question, why do people organise tournament with prizes? Is there a need of paying or anything?
There’s no fee to play, they’re free and prizes are to make it fun!
What do you get for winning?
Depends on the event, sometimes it’s irl product, cash or TCGlive codes for packs
Can I play in tournaments on mobile?
Yes! You will just have to tab between limitless and PTCLIVE. Don’t get me wrong it’s a bit of a pain but it can be done
The tournaments are free? And have prizes?
Yes indeed! I’ve run at least one every week for the last three years, all of the prizing comes out of my own pocket, happy to help the community have fun!
Most of them are just a few online codes but its still nice to get something
