at exactly 6:22 jeff knew this kid meant business... MAN what a crazy lick man. Making django, wes, grant, joe smile man, there u really connected to the source!
Jeff Berlin is one of the best bass players in the business and a very nice guy…….his ego is not out of order! Thank you Jeff for all those memorable times at the Musicians Institute back in 1983.
There are a lot of jazz guitarists that play lots of notes and are very talented. You do that, but you also make it interesting. You played some very cool riffs that made me listen closer. Thank you for the inspiration!
Wow!! I really enjoy your playing....you got mad skill, Dang!!!!. keep up the good work, and remember to always remain humble...the sky will be the limit.
Man, that was awesome! Even though you said you were nervous I think you really let it go and jammed liked if there was no tomorrow :D. I am a bassist but I love Jazz guitar too. Lovely. What is the name of the tune you played? Thanks!
David Feily Music Very nice playing man! Really like how you get that nice hollow body tone out of that solid body and with SC pick up. Really good stuff!
First of all, i would probably be to nervous to play if i was sitting NeXT to Jeff Berlin. second of all, WOW!!! I mean this shows how 3 great muscians can just sit Down play a jazz tune and make 8 minuts just fly by.
@@DavidFeilyMusic true... And it was beautiful. Jeff was looking your way a few times.... It might have gone somewhere else . Or were you afraid of looking, just in case you saw Jeff Berlin and poohed yourself?! 😂
@@guyp3599 Pretty much! LOL. I was very nervous. He seemed bored at the Cort booth so I asked if I could sit in for a tune. I dunno what made me ask but I'm glad I did. I was shitting bricks in my head. Could barely play.
"the beauty of music is not always knowing what will happen, but trusting that something good will." i love that.
Jeff was very impressed, it a takes a lot to.impressed a guy like Jeff....awesome

Ciao David!!! ;-)
David, fantastic. Anything to help the bass player stop talking. Yes I know it's Jeff Berlin.
what kinda guitar is David playing here?
David Was it the G100? also did it play well?
Duuuuude. Communication! You hardly looked at Jeff - communication is SO important on stage.
We communicated using our ears.

Great job!! You have to take risks to improve and you had the stones to ask him to play
Good lawd!
You can tell Jeff is so use to being a teacher giving "good job" looks all around.
Hi David, great chops, but during a 8 bars solo, you gotta give Jeff the solo too, it's called a jam, we take turns to solo.
4:03 hahaha he forgot he had to comp.. great player though!
What four cretins would thumb down a guy posting his impromptu jam at a music show with a bass great? SMH!
Probably to spite Jeff.
무슨 말이 하고픈거였을까
If this was not planned, isn't it interesting that their both play Cort guitars.....red flag?
In the description : "I'm playing a Cort strat that was sitting there at the booth."
9 people are fucked.
Sorry I've been drinking and for a moment there the zero looked like a nine. Fantabulous jam gents!
