Jam with Jeff Berlin at Winter NAMM 2015

- I got to jam with bass legend Jeff Berlin at Winter NAMM 2015 at the Anaheim Convention Center! He was there to demo his new Jeff Berlin Signature Bass by Cort. I was extremely nervous to play with him! I asked if I could sit in and he obliged on one condition: that we play a standard! This was definitely one of the highlights of my NAMM experience. I'm playing a Cort strat that was sitting there at the booth. (The playing starts at 1:55)
This tune is a jazz standard called "There Will Never Be Another You".

Jeff Berlin is one of the best bass players in the business and a very nice guy…….his ego is not out of order! Thank you Jeff for all those memorable times at the Musicians Institute back in 1983.

There are a lot of jazz guitarists that play lots of notes and are very talented. You do that, but you also make it interesting. You played some very cool riffs that made me listen closer. Thank you for the inspiration!

@@guyp3599 Pretty much! LOL. I was very nervous. He seemed bored at the Cort booth so I asked if I could sit in for a tune. I dunno what made me ask but I'm glad I did. I was shitting bricks in my head. Could barely play.
