18:36 Looking at the back, this excavation is typical of pick workings, a concave, dome shape. This ages the mine.

It is one thing to hand drill, but can you visualize operating a pick all day, every day. Where is the beach?

Yes, the development work on this particular mine was done in the early nineteen hundreds up to about the nineteen forties

In the early 80s we could drive our Subaru wagon to the upper adits, turning around was challenging!

A lot of these places used to be accessible like that. Thank you for the comments.

17:23 You mentioned ore bin, I would gravitate towards that, try to find some ore samples, if you had a Gold Monster 1000 you might detect some gold.

I see these expeditions and always wonder if there is another vein just a few feet away running parallel? Be safe

I would love to see the places you visit, the only thing stopping me.....I know better! I have zero experience in mine exploration and have no need to develope those skills when I can watch your videas.

I just found your videos and enjoy them very much, however, the transition between scenes where the video goes blurry is a problem for me. I have suffered from vertigo in the past and those transitions feel like it is going to touch off another bout of vertigo and I have to stop watching.

@@ghosttownsandminesofwashington They still use that to weld with in Pakistan. I have an old brass torch but have never fired it up.
