That happens a lot, and guys have already told you the reasons why it happens That has happened to me several times. Once, the weather was so bad in Ksm. We were also about to land, but the pilot was advised not to. We flew back to Nairobi. After some time, we flew back to Ksm, but the weather was still bad. We flew back to Nairobi and were checked in to hotels near JKIA We flew back to Kisumu very early the next day Another time, I was from Tel Aviv. On reaching back to Kenya at JKIA, there were issues, we went and landed in Entebbe, Uganda, until the ussye at JKIA was sorted

😂😂😂 Nairoffey, that is called a go around. Happens more often than you think when conditions for landing are not perfect mostly due to strong winds. It definitely wasn't a pilot error and plane travel is waaay safer than road travel. So there was nothing to worry about for your situation and the aircraft was not about to crash😂😂😂

Maybe another aircraft was on its way, so to avoid collision, or cross winds, or is it was a call from the air traffic controller, all those may be possibilities.
