It’s hard to believe they were directed by the same visionary behind some of Indian cinema’s finest works. Take Enthiran for instance-a masterpiece released in 2010, way ahead of its time. A perfect blend of sci-fi and mass appeal, executed flawlessly. But what was 2.0? It felt confused, neither a proper sci-fi movie nor a compelling ghost story. The man who once created wonders now seems to struggle with crafting a solid film. His recent projects feel like they belong to the early 2000s rather than today. It’s disheartening to see such a significant fall from grace. Here’s hoping for a strong comeback from him.
