im not the biggest fan of the gameplay itself but i fucking LOVE artstyle of this game, mostly 2D with cel-shaded 3D characters is a very rare combination even today :o also the backgrounds have such a warm, peaceful and summery feel to them... idk they give me a very uncanny sense of nostalgia ; _ ;

My friend knew to just keep movin, but sometimes I was able to turn his controls around at the exact time he would move away from the thing. But at some point I he started to observe my items when I was launching the sea monster 😅 This game is crazy competitive if you play long enough!
@@Flpstrike someone made a graphic upgrade pack for the GameCube version. I have never tried it. You might get it running through the Dolphin Emulator. If you do... can you let me know? :)
This game was such a terrible disappointment :( I bought it before reading reviews just when I saw it at the store. I could usually only get one game a month, and this was a freaking letdown, Puzzle Bobble instead of a proper Worms game!
One game a month? You were one of the lucky ones. Most of the games I owned back in the day were pirated. Not 'cause we didn't have the money but because there was no need for the games. :(
I got 2 to max 3 games per year bruh wtf lol. Birthday + christmas + one random buy (if I was lucky and parents/grandparents had a good day). Also this game is fkin amazing when playing against someone who's equally skilled in it. Solo not so great indeed.

One of the best games ever. As good as Smash / MarioKart, when it comes to simply having a good time with lots of laughs.

Why did cpu loose at the end?
I think I used the pirhana power-up. You can hear them eat his boat.
