She do better then me. I use to be able to speak patois half way decent. As a matter of fact , one time I was visiting my Jamaican friend in New York . M6 friend wasn’t home. I answered da phone. Da woman kept insisting I was my friend. Even though I kept telling her I wasn’t my friend. She started saying like I was running from da law and that’s why i was denying being her friend. I had even met her in Kingston, mentioned that I knew her brothers and that she live by the gully bank. Still she insist I was my friend, now it’s been about 25 years since I was in JA last. Not too much Jamaicans here. But lately it’s ( my patois) been coming back since iv3 been spending some time with a Jamaican friend
