Thanks for the tip on the splatter! I've always wondered how I could prevent it whenever I was cooking stews/sauces. The key is to add the oil after most of the water evaporates.

Except now in Florida I cook with Basmati rice which is healthier.. and no too much oil.. I have never tried coconut milk or oil.. in the Atlantic costa of Nicaragua yes they cook with coconut milk and oil cause is abundant and was part of the British empire which they brought jamaicas to that area..they know how to cook with it.. thank you..😂👍🏻🍺
