That house at 8:51 is literally the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. Turns out the contractor went over budget by hundreds of millions of dollars, and the billionaire client ordered the house to be demolished. The contractor said no, so now Southampton village is fighting the builder in court. Honestly that house looks like something a 5 year old would draw on an art project. It’s almost a Jeff Bezos level of money to own something that big. The one next to it is built by the same builder and is almost complete. The community of meadow lane started a campaign to have it taken down. Many local people call it Aladin’s castle. You know you’ve messed up when other billionaires can’t stand your house. Hope this helps.

The Hamptons was once the summer playground for snooty 'blue-blood' WASPs .... but now it's become the 'must have' status-symbol for nouveau riche Jewish billionaires.
Pretty crappy place to be rich in. Nothing but totally flat boring terrain, gray boring ocean, boring beaches, no interesting vegetation, no hills or mountains, no islands, etc. Seems like the most dull place imaginable for the location of a place where billionaires live. I wouldn't even think of this place if I was rich, let alone live there. But that's maybe because the views wherever I go in my country are at least 200 times better than there.
Just to be able to get a glimpse of the mansions there was enough for me! One day I will buy myself a house along that beach 🤩

Saw a snowy owl on that beach (towards the end near Shinnecock) at the 2nd house in. He lived there last year...rent free!
