- Prologue - Late Summer Greeting
from Mihama Town, Mie, Kumano, Japan
We moved out to rural Japan from Tokyo in this July.
Since we came here, it has been a month. We have already touched lots of different value from Tokyo and urban life. It came out been great so far. Well, nobody knows how it goes from now on though.
Hope you all are very well even under such heavy rain today.
About Kumano

However, it is a place to purify or relax surrounded by the spiritual and sacred atmosphere.
In this difficult time, you might confront an opportunity for you to consider the meaning of the life.
The place might be able to bring the answer you are searching for.

As a retired elder, what I did with the difficult summer was expand the garden, which I had let shrink because of my age. The effort brought me back to life somewhat. Same again this year, though drought became more evident. Gassho.
That's impressed. When we get extra time, we have time to consider how to use it.
For me, it becomes the life more fulfilling.
It doesn't matter whether you shrink or expand your own garden. In my view, most important thing is what the time you spent gives you.
You seems to obtain something, which was previously absent, or which you had before.

田舎の一人暮らしというのは良くありますが、やっぱりご夫婦とか家族とかが一緒の方がいいですね。
頑張ってください。都会暮らしをしたことがあるから田舎暮らしの良さがわかるのでしょうね。

三重県南部は何だかのんびりしていて、南国に来たような錯覚になる時がありますね。
私は、熊野の裏？表かも？(笑)奈良で生まれ育ちました。懐かしい景色です。育ったのは、そちらよりもうちょい街中だったけど☺️山の緑の深さに心が和みます。三重は海もあり、三重の人達は、飾り気がなく本当に素朴で優しい人が多いと思います。地味な、なんてことは無いわ。旦那様と素敵に日本ならではの歳時記を刻んで、ほのぼのを存分に味わって暮らして下さい。心が朗らかに豊かになりますように。また、時々、お邪魔しますね。😊🍀
