Why he wants to unalive himself is unknown rn but something happened that caused him to fall into a deep depression and become suicidal.
The title itself answers that. Isolation is HELL on any living animal intelligent enough to realize it. Oswald was abandoned and left to rot. He feels trapped and wants to escape, but his own luck is a paradoxical prison.
