I needed something that doesn't test my willpower every time I use it - and I found it. 😁

have the same watch. i was addicted to my phone and i really needed internet for study.whenever i use my phone for studying i will end up in scrolling youtube shorts or other things so i started using my laptop for studying and yeah it works i can focus only in studies and at freetime i can watch useful youtube and not shorform crap or information i did not care about!

Profound, inspiring, makes you think. That's a good video! The part I struggle with myself is this balance between decluttering and not having a separate alarm clock, watch, physical agenda... and being overloaded by the idea of doing EVERYTHING with your phone. It's such a handy tool, but stripping it down more to the essentials I really need is then the right option. No Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat nonsense... Hmm, something to ponder on. Thanks for sharing!

You said it so well - "doing EVERYTHING with the phone" is indeed, overloading and overwhelming.
There are days that I can't stand even holding my phone.
I'm constantly looking for ways to bring back the phone to its proper place while also allowing this technology to benefit me where it fits.
      Definitely an balancing act!
      Thanks for the comment!🙏

Hey mate, thank you for this video, I always justify using my phone, because like half of the time im using it it's a good tool for my school, sport and other stuff, but that doesnt justify the other half of scrolling on social media. Definetly made me more aware of how I spend my time on my phone. I will definetly set blockers and use it less now.

I'm glad to hear it was helpful. Being more intentional with the phone can only do good.
      Thanks for the comment, dude!

Those little casio watches are great. Had one that I would take hiking. Time is important for navigation and it has an alarm that could be used to wake me in the morning. There is little point having my phone on when outside of cell reception, especially if I'm carrying a separate camera.

Oh, man - I fell in love with this watch. I wish I could wear two, lol.
You said it well - with the right alternative, the phone naturally goes back to its place as a phone.

Great watch. But... "the watch does not make allowances for leap years as there is no provision to record the year. Due to this, the month of February is always counted as 28 days." So... don't trust it at the end of February.

Cellphone in airplane mode, 2 or 3m away from the bed. Done, you still have an alarm clock. No need to overcomplicate stuff.

I believe that the environment is stronger than we realize. Having the phone in the room makes late-night scrolling much easier.
Moreover, I don't want the phone to be the first thing I see or touch when I wake up.
I found it much easier to simply not have the phone in the room, rather than to test my willpower before bed or the first moment I wake up.
Sounds like your willpower is on point!
