If someone can say something about a certain aspect only if they have achieved something in that aspect, then most coaches cannot say anything to players, because most successful coaches have not been successful players. Coaching is a different skill to captaining and analysis is a different skill to captaining. Hence, the analysis of an expert needs to be scrutinized rather than their past captaining. So, GG's argument falls flat. It doesn't make logical sense and it is logically flawed - see red herring logical fallacy.

I saw someone saying people are superstar worshipers . It is not super star worshiping but the fan following that someone has achieved by his acts. If someone is saying they ab divilliers is best then he is so. Why do we watch a cricket match is it only for the trophy or it is sport which is going on in the field . If someone makes it interesting to watch the same batting or bowling which other 21 players have done in the game and he does something which seems amusing and creative at the same time , why the hell should we not consider that player to be the reason we watch the game . If ab divilliers make ka cricket interesting by playing the types of shots he used to , then trophy is what he plays for , but we audience watch cricket for these types of players only . And as an outsider trophy is not the legacy of a player but it is the creativeness that absolutely no other player takes into the game which makes him legendary .
